  1. im like 5ft 4 so the height thing should be an issue i have the standard z seats adjustment basicaly as low as they can go, first car thats actually an ideal seat height for me... the wheel is also its lowest position for me though haha. what did you do for seat belts? the seats i might be buying have bride rails so im thinking they might fit with them and wont need to get specific ones for the z as they arent in a dc5 now they're in a ep3 civic.

  2. Might be buying some integra recaros in red. Anyone fitted these? Any issues with height etc? Also anyone got measurments? Still waiting for a reply from the guy hes constantly busy. Want to know if my wide thighs are going to fit in them comfortably or be squished.

  3. I'm surprised how many people worry about heat on front mounted turbos... it would be positioned where the airbox is so loads of air would be getting to it and not only that but supras, skylines and loads more of cars have turbos close to bonnet and close to the front of the engine.. all work fine. the issue with mid mounted is that the roads in scotland are crap and clarted with salt.. surely this isnt going to do the turbos any good over time?

  4. yeah rated 3 where the rules next year are between 1 and 2 not even sure if thats anything to do with eu, my mate works for a tyre company thats how i know about it. also he was going to use ad08r's but due to them being discontinued he went for advan sports instead and he cant fault the advans.

  5. Yoko ad08r is being discontinued due to its noise rating.. so next year they are making ones with ad08r technology and the s drive technology.. i really hope they aren't like the s drives when in the wet tho.

  6. basically as the title says. expecting a bit of stick for posting this no doubt cause yes the info is probably on here already but on page 1000000000.. but oh well.

Been looking at kits but being in america they are pricey and the import tax will no doubt be sky high...

so has anyone done a single turbo build, standard internals, uprated fuel pump injectors etc and custom made pipework. external or internal wastegate ( obvs this can depend on which turbos you use).

If i do this i would be happy to get around 380whp so over 400 at the flywheel but preferably without having to do any bottom end work. i can probably push more from a single turbo and still have it safe but this is why i'm asking as im hoping people who have done this can help me with advice.

What i dont want is people saying why don't u supercharge it why not twin turbo it.. this isnt a thread of whats better single twin or s/c

i'm only interested in doing single turbo.

Are some of the cheaper kits in america worth buying like turbonetics?

  7. best tyres I've ever had on any car. ive got jr21 wheels 9.5 inch all round. the advan sports grip in the wet is as good as it is in dry hot weather. my mate who also owns a z has just put two onto the rear of his z and he loves them.

  8. I have a 04 de 350z, bought it in January and spent 4 months getting the bodywork and paintwork re done as the respray on it was shocking. done it solid white and i love how it looks. spent a good bit of cash on it over the time ive had it but i'm missing having a turbo and now im not sure if to sell to get an evo 8 or to keep and sc. the cost of supercharging it is pretty ridiculous ( £7.5k from horsham) when i could get the same power from an evo 8 and would cost maybe 13k at the most. I'd like to think i'd get 7k at least for my z

anyone sold their z and regretted it?

Anyone owned an evo that can compare the two?

i would try and do a swap/px for an evo if i could find an owner who wanted a z not sure if someone would go from evo to z tho.

i love the way the car drives overall but just the lack of boost makes it a bit less fun at times.
