  1. How much of a risk is this on lower mile 2010 370Z's? There are a few <25k milers in very nice condition available.
  2. Yes, same year, similar miles, there seems to be quite a price gap ~10% against some other non "GT Editions" whilst there are 2012 similar miles cars going for a similar price to the 2011 "GT Edition". Dealer prices are all over the show anyway.
  3. Seen a nice one I'd consider, they cost a reasonable amount more than their non GT Edition counterparts, to me anyway. All I can find online (and the thread in this forum) is they have a little more sound damping internally, dark grey rims and apparently better suspension and ride (though that can be subjective, I like a firmer ride in a sports type car) Is there anything else that makes £2-3k's worth of difference that I don't know about? Or would I be better off with a nice non "Edition" model and putting the difference into the exhaust, cool air intake, etc...? I swear one of these days I'll own a 370
  4. This week end I refused a deal on a 62 reg gt edition at 17500 as it needed dent and other marks attended to it had done 20k miles.I won't mind spending a bit more for a low mile immaculate car. I would say that was well priced. Smart repair would have kept the repair costs down... Some people want everything for nothing! The bottom end of the market is still around 15k so a 62 is going to go for more. That does seem a good price for a 62 reg at those miles, but depends on the condition and history of course. If that was a dealer car, why don't they get the dents sorted, it doesn't cost much to do and yet makes a big difference to a buyer. I dont think at £15k+ for a 370Z anyone is wanting something for nothing, but you do get what you pay for. I just think people want to invest their money wisely, and at the £17k-19k range for these cars, you should get exactly what you want and are looking for :-) Why are so many with dealers anyway, seems to be 9/10 with dealers from what I can see... Sorry to hijack your thread OP :-) I guess you should aim for a similar price to a dealer or a bit below, on the average price for the same car, year, mileage etc, given the majority are dealer cars.
  5. We'll need mortgages for them soon!

  7. Hi all, as per topic title Grey, 2011, reg AJ 11 KTK? 16000 miles, , 3 owners...
  8. There is a blue roadster with lower miles available, but Im personally not that keen on that type of blue. It's the grey or black for me. THere's a red one too, but looks a bit odd in red a roadster, not sure why (considering I once had a red TVR griffith)
  9. Hah, I had considered that. I've considered what wet weather gear to wear whilst driving roof down.
  10. I love the look of the 370Z Roadster, roof up or down :-) It leaks a lot when the roof is down.
  11. Hi Will, that's the thing they are hard to find in decent condition it seems. At the same time as not rushing, missing out on a good Coupe could be the result of taking additional time to find a Roadster. What I want out of a 370Z is a bit more fun than I get out of my BMW 330M Sport, which for a 2004 car is in great condition and a fun drive, but the extra ~100 bhp should see any 370Z provide a bit more fun :-)
  12. Hi all I have the option of a very nice low miles (<17000) 2011 Coupe, in the colour combo I really like, but need to move fast, when I was really looking for a Roadster, which seem to be hard to come by (seen a few in less than great condition for the money). Battling with the idea of the Coupe now, would I regret Coupe ownership over a Roadster just on the one has a roof one doesn't side of things?
  13. Possibly the shade, lighting / sun position, but possibly the front wing would look a bit lighter in this pic... but then the lower shading does seem to blend better. Anyway, just thought it was slightly interesting, was just searching for one on a website.
  14. Looks like 2 different cars to me. All side pix and rear pix show the rear is a totally different shade to the doors forward. No mention of damage / CAT C or D on the website, and its trade and mid/high end money!
  15. ... you should HPI, if you are color blind! ;-)
  16. Looks nice in grey with black wheels, very shiny paint there! Im still after a roadster, ideally grey, but getting tempted by a Coupe (due to the lack of decent Roadsters!) As for the part, if you can't find it, you can probably make something that looks and works better ;-)
  17. Im looking for a black or grey roadster, 25k miles or under, ideally manual. Seen a few, but not what Im expecting condition wise for the money... Anyone selling one or thinking about, let me know!
  18. Will you supply the disc cutter to remove the roof? í ½í¸ I like the coupes but really after a roadster. Did see a lovely black coupe driving past at Milton Keynes stadium yesterday eve, the do look good. (I'm still pretty new to the 370Z's)
  19. Figured I'd not worry about the exhaust, will sort that, all other checks were OK with just the front tyres both slightly more worn on the outside by 1-1.5mm than the inside. Discs had a slight lip, but not well worn. Rest of the car was in v good clean confition. Test drive was fine, nothing of concern. Had said yeah I'll take it, did a final walk around then booom!! Noticed 2 marks bottom centre of drivers door... Turned out to be 2 rust bubbles under the paint, very noticeable in daylight, couldn't see in the showroom or didn't notice anyway. Initially thought just picked up road debris, sadly not the case. So for today I have walked away, but they have said they will get that sorted. Is rust / rust bubbles normal on a 2011 370Z? Pretty gutted as thought I would be driving the 200 miles home in it today!!
  20. The exhaust is really rusty around the backbox joint to main pipe, crumbly rusty!! I'm here looking now...
  21. Ah, I had no idea it did this! Quite handy Im sure, so the tyres are always at the right psi I take it !?
  22. Whats the compressor for by the way? Obviously not an aircon compressor in the boot... is it for the roof?
  23. What specifically should I look for and test with the roof catching the windows, will it be obvious? How will I know they havent put in place a temporary fix already?
