As mentioned, SGS are the ones to go for. The 350Z isn't a self opening boot though, the struts are really there to stop the thing smacking you on the head.
Yeah ordered the SGS ones awaiting delivery, yeah mine you had to forceably push up to get the thing open, only just held in place under its own weight i think the nismo spoiler would of tipped them over.

Yeah need to pick a date soon, winter is coming........and you know nothing jon snow.

As above really on a new car get the best protection before any correction is needed.
autoglym stuff is so bulked out (hence why you get all the white chalky residue left behind) the aqua wax is good though if you just doing a quick wash as you apply as you dry the car off.
I use all sorts some meguires is ok, auto finnese stuff is good just pricey, auto perfection ive seen a mate using on his RX7 seems cheaper and just as good.

My boot lid/tailgate struggles to open fully under its own weight, im currently having a v1 nismo spoiler fitted which will only add to the weight.
Anyone had any experience of what struts to got for? Im guessing the actual nismo 350zs must have better struts ?
Cheers in advance

Anyone use a car cover for outside during the colder months?
I have no garage and with the Z not being my daily and will be driven much less dont know "weather" (haha get it) to invest in a decent car cover or just give her a top up with sealent and wax?
I think someone told me these were good once before ? https://www.cover-zo...lid=CPvT0u#nogo
I have the same predicament, having done tonnes of research on the pro's and cons, I haven't got a cover. Some people get on fine, but like Ekona says - unless you wash it every time, you risk the grime scratching the paintwork.
Same, so many pros and cons with using covers, i dont mind the washing part as i wash the car alot already and during the winter it wont go out very often.

Love mine, the baffles won't fit in but that's just a good excuse not to put them in 😅

Testing with the go pro, really should of used the open Skelton case but still doesn't sound bad
-
Did a test fit and the splitter easily clears it so it's going to be left on.
-
What splitter is that? Looks like the one i had on my old Cupra R
-
anyone know if it has to be removed to fit an aftermarket splitter? (Tarmac GT one)
After hearing that it's actually worth something though I might just remove it anyway lol
-
Does that mean I can put it on eBay listed as **super rare**
Haha
Haven't tried to take it off yet but appears to be just a few self tapers
-
Got my GT front splitter from Tarmac and looking to fit in the next few days, anyway when you fit a new splitter do you remove the standard bit of black plastic trim under the front bumper? Or screw the new one into it?
Seems like it would probably fit ok in both situations (just offered it up to the car so far)
Cheers in advance

Interested in this also, my spats have sat up in the spare bedroom for too long now, MUST FIT!

Guys,
Trolled a few pages and im sure theres a thread for it so i apoligise BUT can someone send me some pics of different spring choices?
Im running the standard Rays, will be getting the tarmac spacers when the website comes off there summer break.
By the looks of it the eibachs are popular for people who dont want to go silly low, all i want is minimal arch gap with no arch rubbing issues etc.
Any help greatly appriciated!!!

Further future plans, spacers and "lows"
What spacers do you guys run on these? Also someone at nissan told me it knackers the bearings out on these when spacers are run, dont see how thats any different to any other car?
