I was simply trying to highlight that a replacement Nismo centre cap would be better than a sticker.
Can't remember the size off the top of my head.
For the avoidance of doubt may be best to measure your wheel aperture.
Ahh ok no worries, the only reason i was looking at stickers was due to the fact there doesnt seem to be many center cap choices for the Z and i assumed this was because it was probably an odd size.

This is what you ideally want if you can find a clean set. here
Are they the correct cap size? Are the rays 60mm caps ?
-
Does the standard rays "nissan" center caps come apart?, as in does the "nissan" part come away from the actual cap?
Thinking of getting them either sprayed or take the nissan part off and get something like these to stick on as something different...

Wanting to replace my rear badges,
Should i go all gloss black like these ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350Z-Z-LOGO-SUPER-HIGH-GLOSS-BLACK-Z-LOGO-EMBLEM-BADGE-KIT-FAIRLADY-350-BODYKIT-/131526833530?hash=item1e9f9c357a:g:8uAAAOSweW5Vbw8A
Or get the Z one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-JDM-Black-Emblem-badge-Front-or-Rear-/161631883340?hash=item25a202d04c:g:9~gAAOSwkNZUhazf
Also does anyone know if the "nissan" badge comes off the center caps with relative ease if at all ?
Thinking i could get these and stick them onto the original centre caps http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-56mm-2-2-Car-Refitting-Wheel-Center-Hub-Cap-Emblem-Badge-Decal-Sticker-for-/231265810515?hash=item35d8843853:g:cRsAAOSwBadTp8zI

Cheers guys, probably is stock then, never seen a red stock one, must be just German cars that use boring colours lol

Giving the engine bay abit of a clean up and checking for any nesting critters the other day and noticed that my filter was red (Hadnt ever noticed you could actually see the filter sitting inside the airbox whilst in place)
Anyway, question is what colour is the standard air filter? Im guessing there like most other cars and just a dull white and what i have fitted is a k&n or something similar ?
Cheers in advance.

I recently purchased the Sahara one for my z to store in a garage, really good quality, decent big storage bag and fits quite well considering it has the nismo spoiler to fit over as well.
All the clips have little rubber covers that go over any potential scratch issues

did it swirl the paint that bad indoors? I totally agree with being outside as any movement from wind will just rub the paint.
Ive just ordered one from here https://www.cover-zone.com/
My plan is to give the car a good wash then once the cars inside give it a quick wipe down with a spray detailer then apply the cover...as long as your careful not to get any grit or grime on the car or caught in the cover should be ok indoors
I looked at cover-zone too, and same really as the car will be garaged over winter I just wanted something to keep the dust off and try prevent any accidental damage as it's a bit of a squeeze in the garage.
Same situation as you my garage is super tight and it's not my daily so once it's clean dry and stored it won't be out very much, my cover turned up this morning so I'll see how I get on with it

I think before winter really catches hold would be good to do a day meet and go for a little blast somewhere (must include a duelcarridge way )

Make sure the lock works? It's a mass-produced car by a common Japanese company, it doesn't need anything special doing to it if you're insistent on not using it because it's a bit nippy outside.
You're only in Norfolk, it's not exactly Sweden when it comes to winter weather
haha i agree but i have a perfectly fun daily (leon cupra) so the Z only ever gets taken out for a blast on a sunny dry day when im off work as it is anyway.........
I still plan to take it out on the odd crisp dry day during the winter i can assure you!!

Will make your ride look even closer to the ground once fitted buddy
Can confirm this is true ! For anyone else these really are easy to fit the hardest part was remebering where my stanley knife was to cut away the little rubber bit.

As much as I'd love to tuck my Z away for the Winter, its a daily driver so I have to use it. Although I religiously fully warm it up and down again on each drive
Sent from my Xperia Z2 using Tapatalk
Some interesting articles on warm up and down procedures and why its not always a good idea in cold weather.
Very interesting, ive always allowed mine to warm up on cold days before driving maybe just drive the thing steadily for a few miles instead?
I also always allow my car to sit and run for a few minutes once ive done a journey but thats more because ive always had turbo charged cars.
Ive bit the bullet and decided to rent a garage to tuck the Z up for the winter now.... any tips for winter storage in a garage?

So the guide tarmac sent looks extremely easy to follow
Question is does the car already have the holes and bolts for side steps/skirts if the car didn't come with a skirt as standard?
Most fitting guides I've researched people already have the holes due to taking off original skirts, they just needed to drill the side steps to match.
I'm away from the car at the minute so can't physically look but the day I get back I'm going to try and fit them.
I see on other cars people self tap or glue them on but bolting is always better for a secure fit.
Cheers in advance!

Yes sargara
Funny story I had totally forgotten to ask about spraying the handles, only remembered when I picked it up
