Some silly female driver thought she would destroy the Z a week past on Saturday night in a brightly lit car park
with no other cars next to it, she managed somehow to reverse into the door and wing of my car when no one was in it or near it.
Luckily she was an honorable person and sought out my partner who had the car that night and admitted full liability.
New door and wing and respray required.
Got the go ahead from the lady's insurance yesterday to get it all sorted at a body shop of my choice, was a bit worried when I saw the estimate it might
get written off, but the assesor was an ex Nissan salesman and seamed to know his stuff.
So I have put the T-cut away for now
Happy to know there are still some honest people out there!

Thats what the sensor looks like if that helps, did mine about 3 months back, very easy diy job.
And it is where 350zedd said.

Just did this this morning, what a mess the original clamps were in after only 6 months and contaminating the s/s parts.
The only downside of the Cobra system in my opinion.

I have just put an Xtreme Clutch - Clutch Kit- Single Plate Organic from CMS and would highly recommend it.
It makes a little noise at times with the single fly wheel but must say it aint as noisy as the OEM one that came out of it!
Changed the slave cylinder and brake line at the same time, only issue was bleeding the line to get it right, the clutch install was straight forward.
No more slipping clutch and the car feels so much nicer to drive.

Looks like steam had she been using windscreen washers ? Some ford's leak at the washer bonnet connection onto the top of the engine can get down into spark plugs to.

I got breakdown assistance with the AA with my bank account but want better cover to recover the car home, no offence to Scottish mechanics but would rather it was looked after by someone of my choosing than a random garage...
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
startrescue.co.uk do nationwide recovery for £18.79 for a year.

I live in south west too and I do all the servicing of the 350z myself as i dont know of any specialist round here that I would trust to do any work on it.
At the end of the day its pretty much the same as any other car if you change the oil and filter, air filter, plugs etc etc it should be very reliable.
And should just add, if you have any issues this forum is the place to come as everyone is very helpful.

Hopefully this might help you all out.
Cruise control set to 70mph on motorway cobra cat back, cobra y pipes, cobra HFC's resonated system video.
A bit long but if you want to hear a bit of what its like on throttle go to 2 min 20 secs or thereabouts.
When motorway cruising its mainly road noise you hear, I dont hear any droning that some seam to have.

Been running with a full set of RS3's all winter and as you say in Scotland it rains most of the time so they are probably the best tyre for the conditions.
Never had any issues with standing water or greasy roads, loads of grip.
