Huge congrats! Looks like a very good example - I've got a few expenses to pay out for (mortgage, wedding) but as soon as the savings build up! A GTR is on the wish list....

I've got the car back now!
Rather than repeat what I've said, I'm going to copy my review that I've left on facebook:
Let's add another 5* review to the pile! It's well deserved. My 350z was looking a little tired after a few years of less than stellar care, for which I accept full blame. I was impressed from the start when within seconds of meeting Jamie, his sharp eyes picked out things that needed attention that I'd managed to completely miss.
Communication was great throughout the entire time and I loved seeing my car in progress. I really appreciated that the job wasn't rushed and it took as long as it needed to. The results speak for themselves.
The car looks better than when I bought it and the work done (passion package + front-end respray + a few other details like door handles and lights being refurbished) has taken 10 years off the car. I was a little staggered when I picked it up and had a stupid grin all the way home. Very happy.
This looks spot on!! Cant wait to get this booked in - did you go down on the day get a quote and leave it there or did you go down get a quote then go back to drop it off?

ah, I remember the days of whacking the doorcard to get my drivers side window to operate... 3 years I went never opening the window. makes you look like a right berk when you have to open the door and squeeze a hand round the side to get a ticket at a car park!
My window at the moment goes down when I open the door but doesn't automatically go back up when I close it :-/ - took off the door card and performed the reset process but no luck. Would this be a motor issue too?
Sorry if I've hijacked the thread Shepton!

Bronze would look awesome on a black car, anyone good with photoshop?
Could quickly mockup a black z with bronze rays?
-
Did anything ever come of this?
What was the outcome of this? if (by miracle) there's any left I'll take a set of fronts!

Would have loved to make this and meet up with you guys for the first time but I'm still in plaster (broke my ankle 5 weeks ago)..
Will defo be at the next one!

I'm afraid that my alleigances lie with the 3 buffoons currently signed on with Amazon Prime! I for one will be very interested to see what's to come with this enormous budget they've been given... and especially now there is absolutely no leash whatsoever to censor them!
I'll still be watching on Amazon too, but two car shows have to be better than one?
I agree with this to be honest, I do think the JC, RH and JM made for good viewing so I can't wait for their series on Amazon Prime.
That aside I think the success of it lies with the 'new batch' doing their own thing rather than imitating what the previous trio were doing. The BBC have amazing cinematography and you can see from the trailer it's looking very good so I think I'm very intrigued into how the show will work.
But essentially - two shows will be better than one!

Not what I thought i'd read when I saw the title changed to 'crash' I must admit!
I did think the same thing when I saw the title change - thought the TVR was involved!
Hope said cyclist makes a speedy recovery - just goes to show that first aid training does come in very handy.

...Well soon to be for sale which will result in money
Those arches :scare: :scare: B)
Love them - the whole car is a credit to you!

Great news! The drive home must've been awesome and sounds like an absolute steal considering some of these are touching the £35k mark.
-
Love the after shots of the polishing! Have you switched the wheels over?
Also, I'm assuming that's a Nismo s tune exhaust? where/how did you come across that - bet it sounds stunning!
-
Have you got a picture with the Cobra on the diffuser!? Have you found there to be much difference between the Cobra and Scorpion?
Not many good pics of the tips and diffuser, just these few.
In terms of difference between the two exhausts, they both fit well, no faffing about. In terms of noise the Cobra resonated I have is noticeably louder than the Scorpion I had (I also have Berks HFCs too). The Scorpion is more subtle for normal speeds and louder when giving it some. The Cobra lets you know it's there all the time, without being daft about it.
Shoot Steve @ Redline a PM, he's a friendly chap and I've always had good service from Redline. The carbon diffuser is one of my favourite mods.
Cheers SuperStu
Yeah will shoot Steve a PM!
Oh yeah - that last pic is awesome!!!

That figures ........
What is the longest you have owned a car Ian????
I owned my original z for nearly 4 years outside of that the longest is 18 months
Shortest ownership is about a week
I thought I got bored quickly

Yup all arrived ok
Had an exhaust leak so I had to buy a new exhaust
I don't mess around, so bought my favourite GTR exhaust
Out with the old
On with the new
I tried asking a few local places to fit it for me but none of them wanted to do it because "Oh, that will require modification to fit the car"
Less than 2.5 hours to remove the old, install the new and annoy the neighbours that also included a good 15 minutes of swearing after I dropped the old exhaust on my head
Only other bits and pieces that I've done are fit new Nismo mats, Mirror matic auto folding module, ARK turbo timer, Nardi handbrake handle, Tomei gear knob, Aluminium R34 pedals and new handbrake and gear gaitors. I would like to get an R34 GTR steering wheel aswell
Absolute Beaut! Looks very clean and OEM (Minus wheels)
You got much planned for this?
I love the back end - those lights

Looks very tidy - you must have soo much patience though! Seeing all those wires out like that sends a chill down my spine.

I'm seeing it tomorrow. In my head, I've already bought it.
Must. Remain. Objective. When. Test. Driving!
Good luck! I imagine this time tomorrow - I'll be commenting on your 'Look what I've just gone and bought...' thread

I love how the car is sitting on air and good choice with the rims - bronze works well with the white.
