Sadly I'm on holiday for the 9th so couldn't make that one, though if it's another date I'd be up for it.

 

Whilst we're talking locally does anyone know a friendly MOT garage they could PM me, I have decats fitted currently though I have HFCs I can bring along to swap, any recommendation appreciated

I use a local garage to me in Morden called K&S motors, not sure what they're stance is on decats etc but worth giving them a call and asking for Shaz.

Unfortunately I work nights so can't make meets during the week, but might be able to do the odd weekend meet.

Maybe worth a weekend meet then if most are around then?

Since you're all from the area, where's the best place to get an MOT? I'm only ever free at the weekends and tend to be around Kingston most the time.

Gizmo - I use K&S Motors in Morden - not sure how local that is to you but they're pretty good.

It clearly does depend on Postcode because some of the prices you guys are being quoted are much higher than what I've been quoted.

25 - driving for 8 years with 6 years ncb - no points/claims - KT postcode and it's coming up as £550ish for the year...

That sounds like a good location Coffin dodger, perhaps if this meet picks up some steam we could alternate between the two venues.

So I've got an 03 DE on gun metal grey (WV2) but when I've spoken to shops and looked online - WV2 comes up as 'silver'.

Bit of an update;

I spoke to the manager of Krispy Kremes (New Malden) and he said it's no problem hosting a meet there, all he asks is that we let him know a date in advance just so it doesn't clash with any other meets. E.G every 3rd Sunday morning of the month they have a hot rods / classic American muscle meet there which is understandable.

I guess the next thing would be dates - what are peoples thoughts - morning, afternoon or evening - weekday or weekend?

Just to get things started how does Friday 9th September sound say around 8ish?

Funnily enough KK do have a few car meets including classic car meets etc.
