  1. Haha how could I forget the stubby aerial?! Shame on me!
  2. 05 plate gt4 in Kuro black, 44k miles. I have owned the car 3 week, so far I have fitted whiteline diff bushes, new nissan diff oil, refurbished one wheel (they all need doing really but I refinished the kerbed one first) refurbished gear knob, fitted android head unit as looking at the bose tape deck depressed the hell out of me, refitted original mats, bought a new boot carpet, 6000k headlights to replace stock HIDs, LED number plate lights and side lights, HD wax and of course a stubby aerial! Soon i'll be fitting a front splitter, having a new leather piece and new foam base fitted on the drivers seat as its slightly worn, full paintwork detail and maybe wheels repainted in a gun metal grey or anthracite... not sure, also a plenum, spacer with decat and uprev. *Mines front lip now added A week after ownership this happened.. So up she went onto the ramp for the diff to come out Such a pain to cut this bush out! Rust old diff Painted diff with whiteline bushes fitted and fresh nissan diff oil New belts fitted Diff fitted, I took the opportunity while the diff was out to waxoyl the underbody All back together Finally the old tape deck removed and fitted with a android head unit Mines front lip fitted
  3. I haven't seen another Z on the road for ages now. They used to be common a few years ago. Where have they all gone?
  4. I have OCD with keeping my car clean... It's a curse!
  5. Let me know we you get it we can meet up. I didn't get chance to speak today I was really busy
  6. Personally I wouldn't worry about it. If the car was blue and the logbook said red I'd be a little more concerned!
  7. Busted giving the gt4 a sneaky wax at work... hope my boss doesn't see this! Haha
  8. Anyone? I'm going to take a wild guess that sw1 and sw2 go into pin 1 and 2 on the universal patch?
  9. Can anyone shed any light on how to set up the universal patch lead for eonon?
  10. It was £80 for a whiteline kit
  11. Black cars look great when they've just been cleaned, 10min drive and they look filthy again haha Bushes were promised to be here today... Haven't turned up! At least the new belts are fitted
  12. Haha it is shiny I just waxed it. No pictures of the waxoyl. I used the clear one heated up and put in a spray gun, I'm not a fan of the black one as it seems to dry out over time
  13. Ahhh OK thank you! I can relax now
  14. Is that lsd? Sorry I'm new to Nissans
  15. Hello, I removed my diff today ( see my other thread ) and I've realised my diff casing is the one on the right of the pic below. Does anyone else have this diff? Was it standard on the Gt4? Apparently it's nismo. I'm trying to find out if this is standard or if one of the previous owners have fitted a aftermarket part. Thanks in advance
  16. Good car at a good price. Wish I'd seen this last week when I was looking to buy
  17. I was going to attempt it on axle stands at home... Soooooo glad I didn't. We tried to pull the bush first but there was no chance it was solid so the hacksaw had to make a guest appearance!
  18. And the bloody diff bush is busted and AC belt has been shredded So good job I work at a car dealership and I can work on my own car at weekends! Getting that bush out was a complete bastard While the diff is out I decided to waxoyl the underbody, paint the diff and change the oil Now I'm waiting for parts Iv been reading loads of horror stories about the rev up engines now... Maybe the z was a bad choice! Haha
  19. Perfect! Thanks very much billdingo I'll report back with how I get on
  20. Hello. I had a eonon head unit in my e46 and it was great with the SD slot, gps and reversing camera input, so now I'm looking to buy another for the Z but I'm stuck on the exact leads I need as they seem to be manufacturer specific. My car is a 05 with bose (which I would like to keep) and the steering wheel functions. The head unit in question... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=381197487113&alt=web Thanks very much
