I'm on the same boat stripping the rear end although not yet invested in the rust buster kit yet.  From what I can see Nissan uses Metric sizes, although some threads are very fine.  Search for the big kit of metric size tap and die if you plan to clean the current bolt up.!

Thanks guys. What I have seen is a aftermarket long tube for HR where it is a 2 piece design.  So if I understand correctly it will bolt to the engine and the Y pipe ok? ( I have aftermarket Y pipe, if makes a difference at all…)

Ladies and Gents, before I get shot down for mentioning or toying the idea about long tube headers.  Does anyone knows if the HR long tube could be fitted to a DE ?  Or if there are obvious problems that will need to be addressee in the process?

These are quality lines, made a noticeable difference when installed in my car.  Noticeable difference in pedal feel.:()

Wondering if there are scope to do a group buy on the OEM brace as most of the 350z including mine are rotten!

Just sharing my own 2p on the SW.  Generally it is a good package all round, it is straight forward to use compare to other packages I have used.  For the analytic tools I would suggest have a search for more specialised tool.  As I know from the industry they tends to use other software for fluid flow and hardcore FEA.  There are also acoustic tuning software good for engine simulation like Ricardo, may help .

The experts get it wrong as well with digital simulations.  As it is as good as the person setting the study up and it can spill out complete beans.  It takes a lot of physical test and correlations to get it right.

I wish both of you good luck and keep up the good work. More than happy to help although my SW is well dated!

By the way just noticed auto correct changed Ogura clutch to hour clutch!

Dear all since my return from Japan I have acquired a Hours single disc clutch and gathering dust and looking lonely. I'm wondering if any traders have experience installing them? In general looking for prices for clutch install... Anyone ? Cheers..

Don't mind too much for the look, more from a performance point of view and a tad lighter.  Although torn between Fujisubo and the Kakimoto... But I been advised Fujisubo quality is a slightly better but non or less both are good.

Been no luck in getting a secondhand Tomei Expreme Ti from Japan.  I'm now considering Fujisubo Power Getter single exit.

Had a quick search around the net doesn't seems a lot been written about it from users. Im wondering if anyone had any experience with them?  As I'm after a single exit.

I have no doubt they are good exhaust as they are supplier for OEM.....

Just occurred to me lol, pray you don't go from TT to 350Z to 350ZTT.

I said to myself I want to keep it nice and simple for the Z ..... Then again a trip to Japan means that's all went down to the drain..!

I recently opted for the ORC 409 Metal Series clutch for mine. Comes with flywheel and the throw out bearing. Didn't have enough time so I didn't opt for the quiet special order option. They are all damped and high Mu disc for 350z.

I found the 350z pedal positions are ok as with all car I drove heel toe no issue for me.

That's a good one I intend to pick up a cheap suitcase and pay extra for the airline to bring more stuff back. Don't suppose the facelift light will fit pretty facelift cars (at least not without some rewiring?)

Heading to Japan soon for business and looking for advice on what would be the must pick up items for the Z! Sounds obvious and easy when spending all time to dream about what to pick up. When time comes it's difficult. So I'm wondering what you guys (especially for those who have done it and won the t-shirt) what are the bargain items to pick up!..
