Hi all, it was nice to meet some more of the forum peeps on Sunday @ Japanese Performance Show & looking forward to seeing more of ya at future shows. Whilst I was there I was talking to some people about the HR bonnet & where to get them from. 1 lad said Nissan direct is ya best bet & yes he was right! I had some time off work yesterday so popped into my local Nissan dealer & they've hooked me up with a brand spanking new HR bonnet with bulge for £341.24 including VAT! Hopefully I'll be picking it up this Saturday, if not the Saturday after! Obviously it comes in primer but that doesn't bother me as I'll be getting it wrapped to match the Tangerine Dream Machine! I will post pics once it's done & on but that price I'm well chuffed at! So anyone after the HR bonnet with bulge just remember don't bother with anyone else as they want a lot more, get on down to your local Nissan dealer! £341.24 FTW!

Is anyone traveling up from the south west type way? Going past Swindon? From Swindon? Or anywhere near Swindon?

I wanna camp but supposed to be seeing family in Rugeley that weekend. I'm bringing my nephew/godson with me also & he's only 8 so I'm probably gonna have to just say for the day. I'll let my mate know that he could be in on stand with us but if another Zed wants to get in before I sort it with him that's cool. It is a Zed club after all. His is a 33 GTS-T stage 1 running @ 339.5 hp. That's from a rolling road so probs whp rather than bhp!ðŸ˜

Confirmed!😠I got a mate who's got a R33 who coming anyhoo for my birthday. I know it's not a Z33 or Z34 but if we're in a bind after a tenth???

Was also thinking about camping as my mate with a Golf wants to drag me on Saturday, he's not aloud his poop in on Sunday!😂

I'm gonna be getting my '06 GT roadster remapped soon but wanna do a few health check things first, like oil & filter, fuel filter, aux belts & the spark plugs. Now I've heard about "spark plug upgrades" when chucking more power through like going 1 grade colder, also known as just getting a slightly smaller gapped plug. Has anyone actually done this? Will it really make any difference on a N/A car that only looking to go stage 1 remap? Gotta be iridium anyhoo so is there a brand that seems to work better than another on the DE engine? I may have this thread in the wrong section as its been a long while since I last posted. Any help on this matter will be muchly appreciated.ðŸ˜

I'm doing an oil change today & know the oil I need is 5w30 but what I don't know is there's loads of different variation like A5, C4, C5 & such like. What is the one for the 350? Some say ideal for VW or Ford but despite looking for weeks I can not get a definitive answer. I don't know what the difference between the codes are & don't wanna put the wrong one in. Thanks for any help in advance.

Btw I have a '06 facelift Zed.

As the title says I'm after Jap/USA spec front licence plate mount. Just the bog standard plastic equvilant of the UK long licence plate mount. I know you can get the tow eye mount but I don't have the money for one of them at the mo hence why I'm after a OE mount for now. Cheers.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I saw some members at Japfest at the weekend & there was some lovely looking Zeds but only 1 Roadster.í ½í¸¢ This delighted my friends who proceeded to tell me that I brought the wrong car! Tbh what do they know, they drive Hondas.í ½í¸‚

Hi people, like the title says I'm new to the forum. I own a '06 350Z GT Roadster that I brought 3 weekends ago. Despite only owning her for a short time I absolutely love her. She does need a new exhaust but from people I know that own Zeds that seems to be a common thing. She deffo won't be standard for long, I've already fitted a Pipercross Viper filter & silicone Z tube & next is a new custom exhaust & remap. Also I've done a few cosmetic bits. In the future I will be doing a lot more but gotta sell my old motor to pay for the mods. Here's a couple of pics that I took a week after getting her.
