  1. I was looking for info on removing the rear bumper when I came across this little gem. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MqTOD2xXLlE Shows you how to tuck the centre part of rear bumper. Not a bad mod IMO! Sent from my potato using duct tape
  2. Right, so after having this a wee while you don't hit the button with your elbow! It's too close to the seat to hit it! Sent from my potato using duct tape
  3. Got them this morning, very fast delivery. They look really good too, good quality. Very impressed! Sent from my potato using duct tape

  5. Where are you getting a steering wheel re-trim done? Sent from my potato using duct tape Not getting that done now either as I've just spent out cash on new wheels! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86570-chirag1988s-build-thread-i-needed-new-tyres-sopage-11/page__st__200 On another note - I believe steering wheel re-trims are done by Jack at Royal Wheels? http://royalsteeringwheels.com/ They are looking good ðŸ‘🼠I tried contacting jack a few times but it just rang through, I'll send them a message, cheers bud! 7. That's my idea blown then! 😂😂 I actually was thinking along those lines, I may go then black and see if anyone wants a swap for my Alezan seats. I will be taking the seats out regardless for a proper clean and condition. Sent from my potato using duct tape
  8. Forgot about that haha, mine was already disconnected from removing air bags etc! I'll add it to the guide, cheers though Sent from my potato using duct tape
  9. Okay so I've decided to try and sort this large elbow problem by moving the ESP button to the furthest away button slot, I'll let you know if it works Sent from my potato using duct tape
  10. Sooo I wasn't keen on reaching down to turn the traction control off and accidentally washing the head lights. So I fancied moving it to where the heated seat switches are. Easier access and all ðŸ‘🼠You'll need the heated seat switches or the blanks where they are usually. You'll need to be able solder wires together, so if you haven't much experience than ask someone who has. You'll need: Philips head screw driver (PZ2) Solder equipment 1.5m length of 4 core wiring (22gauge) So first you'll need to remove the lower piece if the dash below the steering wheel, I found it easiest to just unplug and unscrew everything to remove it entirely. Detach bonnet release etc. 2 screws and a few pull tabs. Next you'll want to remove the protective foam around the wiring and label the 4 wires twice going to the ESP switch. (Numbered Patches of masking tape works best) and cut the 4 wires between the 2 labels. There's 1 blue/yellow wire, 1 red/ blue and 2 black with silver markings. Now you'll want to solder your cable onto the OEM cable, using the numbers. Remove the center console (2 screws under gear stick panel, 1 under the ashtray and 2 either side near where the seat belts plug in). Careful as the wiring loom for hazard lights are here, and it can but a bit fiddly getting it over the hand brake! Once the cable it routed, solder the button end to your wire, remove the button blank and replace with the ESP button, put the blank over the original ESP button location. Reassemble and Voila! (Apologies for the quality of the guide, everyone's first time is a bit shakey 😉) Sent from my potato using duct tape
  11. Yes Ian did and made a bl**dy good job of it too. Thread is here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81278-new-seats-sort-of/ Hope that helps Tuck. Yeah that thread helps a lot! Cheers for that Sent from my potato using duct tape
  12. I'm not too sure yet, possibly black but it's a bit boring! I did think that but I enjoy doing these things myself, if you take your time and get proper advice you can get decent enough results! And if it all goes belly up you can always pay someone to do it 😂 Sent from my potato using duct tape
  13. That looks really good, well worth the money! Sent from my potato using duct tape

  15. Sooo, after looking extensively for replacement seats for the 350z to no avail I've decided to modify the current seats. I couldn't decide on any seats as I wanted leather, heated and able to fit harnesses (Not for any track work, I just prefer the strapped-in feeling) without spending in excess of £3k. Not possible for my picky nature. I'm not a massive fan of the Alezan interior parts, I do like it, it's just not my first choice. So after reviewing a few videos and pages on dyeing leather, how well it comes out and the simplicity of doing this. So has anyone done this before? Sent from my potato using duct tape
