  1. Yeah I've taken the car to the garage and got the random misfire code. So the garage thinks spark plugs and coils. So my plan is a new set of plugs from tarmac ( cheers stylz these look a good buy). Then I'm going to buy one coil. Change the plugs and hope it's only one coil that is the problem. Ngk coils are £65 each so £390 for 6 or I can get some from Clark motorsport for £50. Hope that'll sort it and with any luck it'll be done for about £115. That'll teach me for having a spirited drive with an mr2!! It happened 1 miles later the next day!

  3. I'm going to try changing the plugs this afternoon. I'm going to get them from euro car parts however they list 1 ngk £11.99 1 ngk DENSO £14.99 and 1 ngk DENSO £17.99. My car is a 04 with a scorpion exhaust and K&N panel filter. Any idea what plugs into need? ? ?

  4. None of which sound good. I've just finished work and now the malfunction indicator light is constantly on and she's running rough so that's one more problem to solve. I've parked it in the garage now so it'll stay there for the weekend. Guess I need to clear the engine fault light then go through and check for the other problems. Thanks all for the info. Hopefully have it sorted sometime next week

  5. Right for about a week now there has been a rattle from the rear. Then a vibrating noise from the rear when releasing the clutch....let's say the biting point when it's just being released. Then this has happened today and instead of a slight vibration it's now a violent vibration and doesn't go anywhere if the car is put under any kind of load. Engine revs fine whilst in neutral

  6. Thanks, yeah I hope so too. I'm now thinking could it be clutch as that would explain the lose of drive but would that cause the the vibrations at the rear? ? Or I'm thinking could it be differential bushes? Hope someone who has had the same thing or just someone who knows what it could be let me know

  7. Hi all, well my 350 is a little poorly. I drove it out of the garage today, all as normal but then when I went down the road and put the car under load i got some bad vibrations from the rear of the car. Felt like near side rear. I thought what was that, took my foot off the throttle put it on again and bad vibration, the car wasn't accelerating and the malfunction indicator light came on solid for about a mile then went off.

The best way I can describe it is say the teeth on the drive shaft were worn, it's ok with little throttle but then when you put it under load it's like the teeth are slipping causing the vibration and lack of drive.

I do not have a clue really what it could be so hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks a lot

  8. Slip light, mine is the same. I put it down to the tyres but could be wrong.

Handbrake, mine was OK until I changed the discs last week. There is a rubber grommet on the rear disc. Get the grommet to 12 o'clock, remove it and there is an adjuster for the handbrake adjust it to move the shoes outwards on both sides, see if that helps.

The boot shocks, 350s have a weight in the boot that can be removed incase you put a spoiler on. I have a spoiler and the weight is removed and the boot still falls. I'm gonna buy some new shocks

  9. Don't know own if anyone saw my other post but I snapped my off side rear on Saturday. Just been to nissan and they told me the part is discontinued. I've booked it in in a garage quater of a mile from my house. They want £168 for making new copper pipe and bleeding it. Does anyone think this is a good price? ? At less then quater of a mile away I can drive it there...it's down the same Street!

  10. Thanks the removal of the petrol tank sounds like a job I hope doesn't have to be done!!! So an inline connector????? So am I right in thinking it would just have a join around 6 inch bellow the damaged part? I have a brake flare kit so could do that, however if I can get a garage to put a join in it they could flare it at the same time.

  11. Better send him a pm then. No wasn't planning on driving it in that state. Expensive month, new mpss, wheel alignment, new rear discs, pads, rbf600, the goodridge lines and now this!!

  12. So on to the 3rd goodridge hose and this happened.......I have no idea how as I'd already broke the fitting seal and started to undo it. Could of been coz I took the clip out half way through but I doubt it.

So I have 3 questions and I hope some knows the answers to all 3.

    1. Can I fit a new end and bend the old pipe I little tighter as there looks to be enough left.

    2. Can you order a brake line from a specialist that already comes bent to shape, is it an easy job and how much would the pipe cost?

    3. How much would it cost for a garage to do the work for me? Obviously I'd still need to get the car there.

    Thanks

  13. I'm going to be fitting the above tonight and am a little unsure how to go about it. I've got a vacuum brake bleeder and I was going to...

Remove a decent amount of fluid from the master cylinder and replace with new.

Remove one line, replace with a new one, attach my vacuum and pull the fluid threw until it's just fresh fluid coming through.

I will be doing one line at a time but on the vacuum instructions it says start with the line closest to the master cylinder and it also says that on a few other reviews I've read. However I've read on here people bleed the brakes starting with the furthest away. Is this only if bleeding and if changing lines do the closest?

Any advice or a guide would be good thanks

  14. I have had a set of 20mm and 25mm spacers in my garage since November but have never got around to fitting them.

My car needs 2 new front tyres which I'll be ordering today.

Will getting four wheel alignment then fitting spacers make the alignment incorrect?

Or if I put the spacers on get the alignment done then decide I don't want spacers on and take them offmake the alignment out?

My car has standard suspension setup so I was thinking four wheel alignment would fix the uneven tyre wear

  15. Happy with, do you mean fit or quality? I had one fitted about 2 months ago, got the boot resprayed at the same time as that's what the body shop advised. Mine was a plastic nismo but the US one which to be honest isn't ad nice looking as the jdm

  16. This happens on my pioneer avh-x8700bt. When the phone is plugged in via the USB through android auto it works the sat nav and it is way too load. I've tried turning media volume on my phone right down and still no joy, so I'd be interested to see if the volume can be reduced
