There's a village in Cornwall, where I picked up my HR, and the whole thing has got permanent average speed cameras - in a 30mph zone. Absolute PITA. I very very rarely speed in a 30, but there you were constantly looking at the speedo as the differential between speeding and not speeding at that level is so low. Gave up and put cruise control on in the end which is stupid really.

Slightly OT but can you get just the tips for these? My HR came with a gemini, but I'm not a massive fan of the tips - would rather the slash cut single layer titanium.

Not like the French to be inconvenient on the week of Le Mans and the Euros is it....

Friday lunch/early afternoon I'd go to arnage, usually good fun at the pubs and plenty of good cars to look at. Head into le mans town on Friday afternoon/evening for the drivers parade and stay on for some beers and dinner.

You'll be too hungover for anything Saturday morning, so get in a decent spot for the race start!

It'd be a cracking do. Would need a decent bit of planning to get the good sites etc, especially as you haven't been before.

Le Mans town is a fairly easy tram ride and plenty of stuff there.
