  2. Hello. Has anyone used the Cusco Zero 3S suspension on their 350Z? Views. The car is being built as a all out track car and currently has the cheaper BC suspension. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. That's actually one of the few bits of trim from the rear of the car we are planning on using. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I shall see if we did. I wasn't there when the stuff was weighed. If it's still around shall get it weighed. Wandering if there's a demand for the random bits of trim we won't be using. Same goes for airbags, airbag ecu and seat belt pre tensioners. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Surprising how much weight there is in plastic. Standard seats much lighter than I'd thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. More weight reduction. Will worry about weight distribution later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Oh well. Don't have to worry about it anymore:). I've seen a few of those extenders cheaper lighter alternative to motorised I suppose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I assume to adjust dampers people usually make a hole above the rear strut tops, in normal circumstances that is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Freezing it helps a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Started stripping off all the unnecessary sound deadening and bracing to make way for the cage. Not weighed the bits yet but I think the removed bracing etc will be more than the cage that replaces it. Chipped away all the sound deadening which was the easiest of jobs. Hopefully the steel for the cage will be here next week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Akebonononono

Good to hear. At first I was a bit meh about them as I have 2 spare sets of ds3000 pads for the UK brembos. Same as a JDM Civc FD2:) can always sell them I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. One step at a time but FI and then one day possibly maybe NOS. Because I've always wanted it:) but not before internals. See what boost people and running on standard internals. Change for beefier head gasket, get compression down a little. Am I right in thinking the compression is pretty low already on the 350? Not had chance to check yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Akebonononono

My JDM 350z I picked up the other day has these Akebono brakes fitted. They Look big enough and seem ok but I've only been on the motorway so far. So are these considered a good upgrade from the brembos, i hear the JDM ones were a bit rubbish? Or will I be wanting to upgrade after visiting the track? Also if I am keeping them, how easy are replacement pads discs to come by, do I just look for 370z ones? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah that was motorway grime after 6 hours driving, it'll clean:). Yeah it's a Civic FD2 JDM Import, in the process of trying to sell it. Got a roll cage ordered. Bought a clubman cage then going to add in the other bits as and when the regs require. Hoping there's enough room behind the dash to fit in a dash bar, want to keep it as road friendly as possible. Looking for a big rear wing. Drift works and showoff imports looking most hopeful at the moment. Going to run it all on Syvec ecu. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Picked up my Fairlady Import on Thursday. It's already had a few mods, Akebono brakes, BC Coil overs, detachable Momo wheel and cobra exhaust. Going to be starting with a roll cage and new ecu. The end goal is to have a car that built to be tracked but at the same time not totally uncomfortable and a pig to drive on the road. A few pics from its first couple of days in my possession:) oh and a pic of the car its replacing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Picked up my fairlady import on Thursday. Love the car. For a 12 year old vehicle it's very clean. I'll be starting a build thread as I bought the car to be a replacement for my Civic FD2 Time Attack Car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'm in Kendal, may have seen your yellow Z about. I picked up my first Z on Thursday:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
