  1. roll cage coming along nicely. Pretty much finished the front half, back half should be finished tonight. Door bars in. Going to have to do something with the doors to make door cards clear the roll cage door bars. Should be able to keep winders intact, which although will add weight I still want to keep them. 2. A bit more cage fitting today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. https://vimeo.com/118042680 bit chilly without any glass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Moar exciting bits arrived. Fancy new Time Attack Cold Lap light and a new Cartek electronic kill switch. Hopefully this kill switch is better than the last one I had on my Civic. Should be as it's rated double the load of the old ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. A spot of cage fitting this afternoon. Notching it in to increase the contact area on to the chassis. Hopefully have it in and the dash back in (to a fashion) before the testing day:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. A bit more hacking away today. Fitting the cage around the bit dash bar. Scary stuff cutting in to a nice car! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. HANS posts fitted. All seems to work well:) still love my matte black Bell Helmet:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah helmet and HANS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. spent some time today making sure the new seat rails, seat, roll cage and my head all fit in the car without making contact with each other Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah looks pretty sexy for a fire extinguisher system. Going to have a firewall bulkhead between the seats and the rear of the car. Plenty of space for nos tanks and such;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hopefully going to have time to get the roll cage in next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If anyone needs an airbag or air con bits, I won't be needing them any more:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Been a bit of a late Christmas:) many a part have arrived! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The new AEM is a bit of an unknown but it does look good, plus Mapping the AEM wouldn't be a problem. In fact it looks pretty easy. Turns out that there's no real price difference between the two either. I'll see what price the Syvec comes in at.l:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah I'm definitely considering them now I've looked in to it a bit. Always like to buy British if I can:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Does anyone have experience with either or both of these ECUs? I know the Syvec is very good, the new AEM ECUs also looks very good, especially now they've gone away from the Gems system. There's probably about £200-£300 in it. Want boost by gear, nos control all that good stuff:) the AEM has cool video overlay stuff with can be dropped straight in to gopro footage. The Syvec has fancy iPhone apps and I can get a programable touchscreen for it for £400 which allows change of maps and setting and well as multiple gauges. It even focuses in on a graph when it hit custom set parameters like oil pressure or diff temps. I think I'm talking myself in to the Syvec as I type:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yes looks interesting. Must have missed their stand on Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I looked at Ohlins, would work out at like £4k+, think if I was going to spend that kind of money I'd go for Pro Flex, added benefit of them being less than an hour down the road. They'd be slightly cheaper than the Ohlins to. Rightly or wrongly I've always seen MeisterR as a bit of a budget brand. The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards the Intrax. 19. These things happen I guess. Difficult to comment without knowing fitment, circumstances etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I think once I have sufficient pennies I'm going for. The Dutch company called intrax. I liked the cut of their jib at Autosports show and I can always sell the BCs. They get good reviews too. They've even developed some fancy top mounts for the Z Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. One must display an air of professionalism Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Most of the dash out. Cable tied the roll cage in to roughly position. Might need to weld it in though. Also got the materials to have a crack at making a BGW:) found some nice looking suspension at Autosports show too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will the discs have been changed with the callipers? When ordering discs am I after 350z or 370z or what? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. We're also adding a cage and big wing which will add some of the weight back in. It's the cheaper of the 2 BC kits. I forget the name EC or something like that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Good to know. I'll see how it goes. Aiming to get on track start of Feb give it a test. might be a little optimistic. There's a lot to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
