Yes, this is correct. But any good painter will spray a test card with every pearl coat he or she applies. This card is then offered up to one of the sides that's not being painted to check or a match. The more coats of pearl applied the more pearl effect you get. If there is any doubt that the repairer cant get a good colour match then the vehicle should be resprayed. J

Dam shame. Should be a fairly easy repair. Pearl white isn't to hard these days to match. You probably know all this any way but: Check it over carefully on collection. Go in the day time and view it in dry conditions. Check colour match and panel alignment. No paint edges in door shuts. Joints should be sealed like a factory finish. Shouldn't be and paint around rubbers and door handles. All decals should be replaced and not masked up. And your Z should be free of smell and dust. Hi All. Can any one help with this? The heated/cooled drivers seat doesn't work. Switch it on to fan or heat. The little light on the switch illuminates for seconds then goes off. No fans or heat. The passenger side work fine. Checked and replaced the fuses. Any ideas ? Cheers J
