Replaced the k1 with Scorpion and havnt looked back. K1 is just noise, scorpion has some tone to it. And to be fair, it isnt that quiet! Was quiet when first installed but now its came to life! Fitment was perfect too!

Yeah the kids thing is very true! Had a good few wee boys comment, how many cars can you pay as little as 5/6k for and get that reaction from them. And yeah i think oldies get jelous when their 12k astra gets zero attention. Or at least I would if i spent 12k on something that gets no looks!

I was thinking Mines front lip, carbon side diffusers. V1 spoiler maybe, although im not conpletely sold on it. I half fancy a huge wing and half like a rocket bunny style wing just dont want to take the classy look away! Plus everythings so dear!

25mm spacers at the rear, 20mm at the front courtesy of PPod. Think the rears could have done with 30mm but it looks great none the less!

It got; Clayed with Meguiars clay bar Polished with Menzerna 2500 and 4500 polishes, with green and white Lake Country pads respectively. Finished with Dodo Juice orange crush. Turned out pretty good i'd say, almost full correction.

I think I seen you, i had just pulled out of the wee road at dm design? Remember seeing the red polo and the driver taking a second look and wondering if it was you

Seen this today. Positive its sunset orange. Perhaps he really wanted a 350z but it didnt fit his high flyer life style?

Round about the cumbernauld cut off you over took me. Made me hark back to my days of trying to decide which colour i preffered when buying - blue or orange man i like them in blue!

Hi all, For sale i have my Japspeed k1 exhaust. As i have replaced it for something a bit quieter due to my old age! Sounds great and is addictive through tunnels! £150 posted

Glad i didnt make the trip down to you for mine after reading that. Regardless of his story being accurate what you said doesnt come across well!

All fitted! Japspeed was a bit of an arse to get iff. The two bolts at the Y Pipe flange were rounded, and one was a normal thread nut janmed onto the fine thread captive bolt. Ever tried to source two m10 fine thread nuts over a weekend? So much more quiet than the japspeed! Sound is 10x more refined, more like the type of exhaust you would get oem on a porsche for e.g, louder than oem but not too loud. I do miss the roar of the k1 as you start the car though!

Scorpion exhaust has just arrived from cougar store, so i'll update on the improvement
