  1. Neither at the moment. Just uprev. It's fine for the stock boost levels.

Stock intercooler piping will be fine.

No, not removing the BOV now.

I'm being bled financially so, I've had to resort to just getting it on the road and make sure it's solid and reliable at 450hp and not shoot for the moon.

It may all be for the best as, if I can't legally drive the car, I'll have to sell it.

I know the feeling mate as I'm in the middle of forging mine myself, the price of the timing chains and pumps etc really start to build up (I knew I was going to replace them before I started but still alot of money none the less). I think that's the best idea to get it running right first. I've been without getting a shot in my z for 7/8 months now and it's killing me! Can't wait to get it back out and banging off the limiter all day again lol

Try the thick end of 2 years :( :(

    I wish I was Snjur.

"Engine blew up today so I had a brand new fully forged rated to 3000hp hand built over night in Japan and in the car within 48hr and I installed some 1500hp each gold plated turbo's cos what the hell" lol.

Well I've just done the FI in right time in my life. If I went for it today no way i could afford it. Plus my best man did all mechanical work and other buddy all electrical which kept cost down. Not to say i ditched my other car to finish Z . Pocket Rocket Suzuki Swift 2009 converted to Turbo. So Suzuki boosted Z

  3. I love your car Snjur and you're a good guy. But im not down with your BBQ food lol.

Hahahaha. I'm a stew guy specially at home with wild stuff like bore deer etc beef stakes and so true meat lover. But when you are in hot climates that type of food is huh heavy in any way just too much. So this couple of months mainly I'm on light stuff fried rice fish and salads.

  4. Love how this car is shaping up. Must be one of the best in Europe. I could only hope to have mine like this.

Woow thanks but I'm way from the best in anyway. I think just an good tuned Z. When it comes to looks there are way much better Z's around. Engine and technicalities yes very good. But I think must be out there for sure bunch of awesome Z which are not online.

I think yours won't be any less. You have been awaiting a long time and things have start moving I good direction for you. So bit by bit I think you are coming there :)

  5. Well Aashenfox when you are putting all down like that bit of a advice. I have JR3 which are copy of TE37'S and they are 9x18 ET15 front and 10x18ET25 but with 15mm spacer on rear. Without spacer on rear will front and rear be in line?

  6. Due to some unfortunate events I got cleared and smoked version.

Buddy has a black Z on black tinted is spot on but on grey clear looks more better. But again each to their on when it comes to taste

Agreed think clear works best on silver/grey, even with shadow chrome Rays I'm not a fan of two tone bits like wing mirrors door handles or badges (sorry Snjur 😉)

I do think the leds can be so bright that it breaks the lines of the body, but you have to admit when the lights are off the whole rear looks much more updated compared to the oems, which screams so "nineties" I wouldn't be surprised they came off a Supra.

Badges come and go. Was chrome than black now black and red. Is something which is changing time to time.

With LED tail lights from HR and LED turnsignals rear end looks 10 years younger.

Night time isn't any brighter than tail light led's.

At least if I recall good, but give quite modern picture of a cars rear

  8. Yup I ran Wasso's old kit, I upgraded it a bit with bottle heaters and we added a Haltech ECU link from the Wizards of NOS controller for ignition remap when "on NOS" this was on a supercharged 350z with a fully built engine with better cams.

it was mapped on a 75 shot which gave about 50HP real world but the torque delivery was what made the difference for your application it would be great. Maybe go up to 100 or 150 shot the biggest problem is the stock ECU can not change maps on the fly so you either have to map it for NOS all the time (not so good when not using it) or get an ECU that can change maps

This is my dyno with the NOS set to fire at 3300RPM

    504bhp.jpg

It's the torque that makes it Soooo much fun ;)

    I'm on Haltech :D

  9. Buy a kit from the US , you'll save a fortune . My mate just bought a Nitrous Express kit and it was less than £500

200hp is a big hit you will likely find you will need much less than that, big hits like that come with a whole host of issues and you WILL burn up parts while you learn how to handle it

I'm looking UK as for now since you still haven't exited officially I don't have tax.

Purchasing from USA I have on total amount with shipping around 50% fees for customs etc. Just check the prices on Nitrous Express in reckon come to same after settling the fees

I have no clue on Nos but a lot of lads are here using it in figures from 150 to 200 bhp on various car plus a person who is doing tuning of ecu is one of 2 guys here in region in charge for SA tuning drift, hill, circuit 1/4 and so is very familiar with all this highly combustible fuels like methanol ethanol Nos....

Again I'm new into this so I haven't asked much around just testing water to see what's the best solution for me
