  2. Whacky will if this post annoys you mate don't reply, I'm an electrical/mechanic engineer and I'm my experience I never believe what is said on a box and always better to talk to people with better experience than mine. I also just wanna interact with people on here as I'm new.

  4. I've been using Esso 97 since I've had my Z, is this correct or a higher octane or better quality with more additives like shell ect more recommended??
  5. Hi All Just a quick note to let you know I work for one of the UKs largest manufacture of welding filler metals ie Mig,Tig,Electrodes, Brazing FCWs ect. If it can be welded we produce a filler metal to do it If any of you require any types of products like this just give me a pm Regards James

    There may be a guide somewhere Mike, I've just changed mine if you drain from the plug on the radiator you will drop about 5L, I'd heard that if you do the block also it's possible to get air locks so I did mine by dilution replaced 5L close system back up let it run round for a while then repeated the process. Hope this helps
  15. Yeah I do it's a great feeling of satisfaction I bought my 07 HR 350z a few months ago with 4 stamps in the book from just local garages but there was no paperwork to say what had been done. So I just thought I'm gonna blitz it and do the lot now I'm a happy boy :-)

Just some encouragement for anyone unsure about servicing their own car SERVICE ITEMS Fuchs Titan Race Pro S Nissan differential oil Nissan transmission oil Molyslip gearbox protector Denso iridium spark plug X6 Brembo front brake pads K&N 33-2399 replacement filter X2 K&N HP-1008 oil filter Nissan premix L248 engine coolant X10L Nissan brake fluid KE903-99932 Nissan fan/alternator belt Nissan sump plug washer Total cost £436.26 I've never serviced a car in my life, my dad has recently purchased a four post car lift which admittedly made this all possible but the satisfaction of doing and knowing it's done is great, yes it took me all day so make sure you have plenty of bacon and coffee in :-) Go on give it a go!!
