  1. Hi im in ulverston. So only 20mins is away from kendal. Excellent might see you about, I go that way a fair bit!
  2. I had them on for a month, loved the look hated the feel of the car. IMO it makes it less balanced and tracks more. But I think everyone will find them different.
  3. F&F 1 is just a rehash of point break... it is the exact same story.. apart from cars not surfboards!
  4. Hi I have a set of 25mm for rear and 20mm for front if you are interested
  5. Looking for a replacement OEM intake pipe for a HR passenger side. Just need the rubber section as mine has split, if anyone has one it would be great. Alistair
  6. As the title I am after the small Facia Panel for in front of sat nav screen. Its a little bit of plastic, so anyone breaking a 350z with sat nav let me know.
  7. That sounds like one of those missed connections adverts!

    New Zed :(

As some of you may have seen my zed recently died a valiant death trying to escape the serious flooding, I am not looking for replacement, mine was a 2006 model, GT Spec, with 60k on the clock, ideally looking for like for like. So if anyone is looking to sell can you let me know. Ideally north west Uk.
  10. Yeah the joys of arguing with insurance companies is about to begin just be xmas too!
  11. Fair enough, the water didnt get into the car itself, just in the engine bay and up into the air filter. Problem is getting another one, I will see what the insurance company give me money wise
  12. Hi All, Just after some advice, as some of you might of seen I lost my car to the floods in cumbria last weekend. I am still waiting for the insurers to assess the damage as they have a backlog but hopefully that will happen next week. I am not sure what to do, if they write it off which is likely, do I buy it back and replace the engine myself? The car itself was in great condition, 06 reg GT, 62k miles on it full service history, spotless inside and out. Or do I just take the money and start a fresh, obviously buying back will reduce the value, and what are the costs of a replacement engine? Any information on costs would be useful Cheers Al
  13. Just an update... Spoke to the garage who suggested I try the insurance company and they have accepted the claim as I was trying to move the car to safety. So just waiting for the tow truck to come tomorrow, then they can assess the damage. At least I am not going to foot the bill, which is a relief although I think it will be a write off if the engine is knackered
  14. They have shut all the bridges now over safety fears, so can't actually get to it never mind a tow truck could be tomorrow before we see whats happening, plus I think the garages will be kinda busy!
  15. the garage I use are pretty good so I am just going to leave it to them to see what they need to do. Fingers cross its not damaged. Least our house hasn't flooded like a lot of peoples here.... it could be a lot worse
  16. fingers crossed ... going to get it towed to the garage tomorrow and let them strip the top down and look at it
  17. no the water was below the sills, it was about a foot deep when I had to get out.
  18. water was about a foot deep probably deeper in places I was trying to get out of it so travelling up hill. I was travelling slowly, 5 or 6mph Whole thing as a bit of a nightmare really. Kendal is totally underwater.
  19. ace... thanks guys, although the lecture was less appreciated... if you had seen what the floods are doing to peoples house here you may realise why i felt i had to move my car
  20. To be honest I had turned back from one flood, and ended up stuck in another the river has burst its banks, I was trying to get the car to a safer place. Just a bit of a crap one to be honest.
  21. Yeah thats what I feared, it was hard to tell as the water didnt seem too deep but i fear it may be bugger*d

    HELP

Hi All, Ended up being stuck in some flooding today in Kendal, unfortunately it was too deep for the Z and it gave out in the middle of the flood, I have managed to push it to higher ground and leave it for now. The internal electrics seem ok, radio etc all works central looking etc. However the engine cut out, I dont want to do further damage, and I hope it will be ok, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Not sure whether to get the garage to tow it on monday and have a look or see what you guys think I should do. Alistair
