  3. Another thing you could do is go to a specialist Japanese car garage and get them to check it out. Might be worth the drive to one of the places on here. Someone who's worked on 350z's before is going to be able to help you more. Hope you find the route of your knocking. I will keep you informed wether if my knocking goes after I change my control arm. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. It could be that you just have a more severe case of what I have going on. Get them to check the front and rear control arms. Can be called 'control arm', 'compression arm' I've even heard people calling them wishbones. There a very common problem on these cars which I've gathered from trying to search the forum for my problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Your noise sounds a lot more constant than mine at low speed. I only get the noise on uneven road and when I hit a drain cover or pot hole. Under heavy breaking I a lot getting a wobbling noise. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Everyone has different names for it, front lower control arm is same as compression rod. All the same thing I believe. I'm changing mine soon and hopefully the knocking goes away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Oh I haven't come across this, I was told it could be the bushing in my control arm or the control arm itself. What's the compression rod? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If its a knocking sound like something is wobbling around I have the same noise and feeling, I've been informed it is my LHF Lower Control Arm, or as you call in on the forum 'banana arm'

  12. Looks fricken awesome Dave!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Cheers mate, feels lovely in my hands too I think this might NEED to be my next investment for the Z. I love the flat bottomed look and I'm used to driving with one from driving a ds3 so long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just got a DS3 for my missus, I like the shape of the wheel but the silver bit is really cheap, might get that one trimmed too Yeah typical French. Poorly made but actually a decent design. DS3s are great cars! Can't go wrong with one of them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Wow lots of chatter on here, i've chosen to leave the 4300 car and look for something maybe a little more expensive. Hopefully I can throw a post up in the not too distant future with a car I've bought Thanks for all the helpful comments and links.
  24. Does anyone know any 350z for sale under 5k? Good examples with decent mileage?
  25. Agree ~ also the lacquer peel as well could be down to poor repairs/resprays done in the past. Maybe hidden problems? It had it's first 9 services with nissan and has been serviced multiple times since. Has been run on V Power and pulled very well when I went for test drive.
