  1. PCars is your only real choice, but it's bugged to hell on both consoles. I've not touched it for months.

Don't even go near Drive Club. GT7 is at least 2 years off, I reckon.

I was actually looking at Project Cars but thought I'd wait till I knew more about it, ...when you say it's "bugged" then what's actually the problem with it?

I prefer realism (simulation) type games to the arcade variants.

Pretty sure that rules out NFS. Even StevoD said the handling on the beta is very suspect.

I have had a lot of the NFS games in the past though tbf as despite them being less realistic some of the visuals (such as racing through forests etc) do make them great fun to play.

Thanks for the suggestions both.

I've been playing project cars for a while now on my PS4 and haven't 1 problem so far. I've played a few races online to see whats its like, wasn't bad IMHO but I much prefer driving/racing through career mode. The graphics are stunning and the pit / Tyre degradation is really realistic. definitely worth a go!

  2. Stumbled on a couple of Gems whilst sprawling through Netflix one evening,

Blitz - Jason Statham, his acting isn't always the best, but this was actually a pretty gritty film about a london police detective.

Sinister - Horror with Ethan Hawke, the second one has just been advertised everywhere. But I'd never even heard of the first one, but me and my missus found it and thought it was very good!

  3. I have a spare set of kick plates if you want? All the clips are still in tact, they are prone to breaking when people remove them " enthusiastically " lol

PM me if you're interested :)

    OK mate, thankyou!

  4. Just had mine decatted, you can still drive it in a civilized manner...but that all changes when your heavy right foot touches the loud pedal! It is raspier, but i quite like the sound + it crackles now as well :sly:

As said though, it wont pass mot....unless you have a friendly mot guy :ninja:

I was looking for more raspiness, so bonus! Luckily I'm in the trade so yea MOT is not a problem!!

  5. DO expect it to be a lot louder, and a lot raspier.

DON'T expect to get through an MOT with them on!

I believe the EML light comes on because of the O2 sensors, think you just buy some spacers and that'll fix the problem.

Oh right, is that because the probe on the lambda sensor doesn't quite sit in the exhaust the same, so can't regulate the emissions properly?

Lol, I was hoping for more loudness!!

  6. Toying with buying/fitting some decats to my DE coupe.

Can anyone shed light on the do's and dont's...? And whats the crack with the EML light coming on after fitting, is this a problem or can it just be ignored/turned off?

Any help guys, would be great!

  7. I wouldn't use superglue personally. Normally when purchasing ball joint boots, they come with 2 metal clips (1 large, 1 small) then when the cover is in place you use the clips to secure it? Most boots you can buy in packs of 5-6 for about £12.00 roughly. But they're just bog standard road use replacement.

  8. Ok so I've been looking for a rear bumper for a while and after going japfest I've decided to go for the chargespeed. Now I need some help on where to source I know rt performance sell it but what is that quality like? And I've also seen Amazon sell it apparently oem. Has anyone had brought it off amazon?

    Any help would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure that was me you spoke to at Japfest in the queue then? haha

Genuine copy from Amazon - a Thread somewhere on here about someone who bought one from Amazon, fitted fine and had the CS seal of approval init.

I bought mine of Amazon, it definitely did fit fine eventually.. as I'll explain below..

I messaged the guy who bought it off amazon but deleted the thread as my inbox was getting full. He said the bodyshop still had trouble with fitting it though...

Yea that was me, to be honest I think it was the bodyshop just trying to make excuses for why they hadn't finished the job sooner. Basically when they first began to fit it, they said it looked rough, so they were good enough to smoothen the rough edges etc.. Then one day they rang me saying they couldn't fit it, so I went over and tried myself and got it on first time with all the original mounts. :bangin: So in hindsight, I wont be using that particular bodyshop again! However Since i managed to "fit" it for them, they finished the job, and it looks stunning. I haven't got a decent pic, will get one after I've cleaned the ol' girl!

  9. The reverse camera I installed, just hooked up to a double din head unit that allowed a video feed into it. So power was no issue from the front end, and to make it "switch" on, I spliced into the reverse light wire by the rear light cluster in the boot (light green wire I believe).

If I was you, I would run the wires from the camera down the passenger side of the vehicle, remove all boot plastics etc. There is a how to on here somewhere.. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56481-kenwood-ddx-4028bt-rear-cam-install-%E2%80%93-superguide/page__hl__+reverse%20+camera#entry985805

Then just hook the LCD monitor up per the instructions supplied I guess..?
