  1. Yeah measure lots and cut once sounds like a good plan haha, that is a shame mate it's bad waiting when you want to get on. I wanna see it all fitted haha
  2. Looking good mate =] decent fit by the looks of it, are you going to be doing the cutting of the wings yourself? I imagine that is the worst and scariest part haha
  3. I couldn't get insurance at a good price when I first got my zed, some wouldn't even give me a price because I hadn't owned a rear wheel drive car before. Swiftcover was good I found though and not a bad price from what I remember, you can do it all online and change bits as and when you need to. They do not insure many modifications if any though. I'm now with Adrian flux again and can add as many mods as you want =]
  4. No problem, They are cheap enough to buy and are handy to have, especially what some garages would charge just to plug in and read codes. My engine management light is constantly on now because I put the decats on so when I erase the code it will just pops back up haha Good luck hope it's something minor =]
  5. Hiya mate, I have a obd2 reader at home that I use on mine. I live in irthlingborough about 30mins from you. Your welcome to pop over and we can plug it in
  6. Thanks mate I just took a look at them, great pictures 👠I think that the zeds were very well represented at the show there was a fair few of us there, all looking smart 😎 haha

    Spoiler

Saw this spoiler at the Japanese performance show, does anyone know what it's called and where I would be able to get one? thanks in advance.
  8. A few shots of the car at Japanese performance show at stoneleigh park the other week. I didn't realise that the forum had a stand there until I got there haha I was on a stand with Hondas in South who kindly had a space for me last minute. Was a really good show
  9. Probably needs to adjust the dampening on them to suit how he wants it to drive haha Thanks mate I'm glad it worked out too 🖒
  10. Thanks Mate =] Yes it's an an expensive kit mate a little over 3000 for the complete kit I got. But it's all well made and in my opinion worth the money. Especially if you want to run low but don't want to be damaging your car everyday to because that can work out expensive haha Does it not affect the ride at all? And yeah, mine has caught on the occasional and I haven't even lowered it yet .... Nope the ride is still great mate, some might say better haha, it's all adjustable with damper settings too so you can change it for track use if you wanted or just to suit how you want to drive it.
  11. Haha yeah it is annoying especially right behind your head. Is it okay to box in as it gets so hot? Would of thought it needs some air lol
  12. This is the kit http://caraudiosecurity.com/airlift-performance-airride-kit-50714-compressor-isolator-kit Looks expensive for what it is, but a good bit of kit imo! I have my compressor under a false floor in the boot on them feet, and I have no complaints about the sound whatsoever. I can hear it obviously but in no way intrusive. Someone that had his compressor in the boot similar to yours, without the feet heard mine and said mine is massively quieter.. Thanks for the link, it does look expensive for what your getting but if it does reduce the noise then it would be worth it. I think because mine is directly on top of the mdf the vibrations are going through the whole board and making it sound a lot louder. Do these feet raise the compressor up much ? I don't have much room above it because of he brace, and don't want it too near it because it gets hot hah

  14. Thanks mate. It is great very clever and very practical. I didn't, the compressor had small rubber bits fitted to it. Or can you buy proper feet for it? I was trying to think of a way to quite it down a bit, it's pretty loud haha
  15. Took some photos this evening of the boot build I done. I wanted to make it so that I could keep my spare wheel should I ever need it, but wanted it to look tidy. Hard to see in this pic but I made a mdf board and covered with carpet to finish this side off. And the old ashtray was nearly the right size to fit the controller so I used a dremel to cut and finish off the edge so it sits nicely =]
  16. I think that will look really good, hope it's not too much bother fitting, I look forward to seeing it all fitted =]
  17. I love getting parcels of car parts haha What kit is this one mate?
  18. Time for an update, a few weeks ago now I brought my airlift 3p kit from caraudiosecurity, I spent a while working out where I wanted to fit everything and cutting and carpeting mdf. And then spent a few days End of last week fitting the kit with my girlfriends dad at his garage. And now is on the car and works great, so far this kit is amazing, it's so practical & all the parts are well made. Also on Saturday I had arch enemy come over to the garage to roll my arches, the guy was called Phil and he done a great job very tidy finish. And was flexible with the times he could come over as I was slightly outside his usual area. We decided not to roll my front arches though, as my passenger side has bad paint bubble and cracking and would 100% of caused a lot of damage, but he did cut the lining tabs from the top with the screws in to make sure it didn't catch. so at some point I'll replace the wing as it looks like mine has been repaired previously but not to well. I think that wheels would be next on the list of jobs to do. I will take some photos of the boot 2moz as I only finished it off this evening
  19. Has the whole club not got a stand at trax this year then? If not then I'll be interested in joining mate 🖒
  20. This looks awesome mate the wheels really suit it too 🖒 I've recently brought the same airlift kit and am currently doing my boot build before we start fitting it. Have you got any photos of how they have done yours? Also is airlift as good as I think it's going to be haha

    Boot brace trims

Hiya everyone, the plastic surrounding my one is rather scratched was hoping to freshen it up. I would need the front & back and the top parts including the middle section. Needs to be in a good condition as this is why I'm changing them 😂
  22. Sorry for the delayed reply hah I brought the ultra racing one in the end but haven't got around to fitting it just yet, hopefully will fit alright 🙃
  23. Yeah I don't do too much night time driving really mate, but when I doo I can still see enough hahah It's only a light tint too, but I know what your saying, ofcourse tinting would affect the light output slightly.
  24. Thanks mate, no I didn't just got them tinted over the top hides it well =] I got them done at a place called db tints near Kettering
  25. I had this same problem with mine mate, But I chose too lightly tint mine to cover it í ½í¸† I think they look a lot better
