    Blue rays?

I hope so best way to find out is to do it and see the outcome =] hah I'm hoping to sort out another set of wheels at a later date then will just be able to swop every now and then. So if one week I didn't want the blue I could put the others on hah

    Blue rays?

Thanks that does look smart mate =] Like you say the worst that will happen is I'll decide I don't like them and will spray them another colour. Just wanted to be a bit different as I see a lot of sunset orange with black or silver wheels.

    Blue rays?

I'm thinking of getting the set of Rays I've had in the shed sprayed a dark blue for my sunset orange. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure but want them to be different from the normal black or silver hah This is the sort of blue I'm thinking.. My girlfriends dad has a motorbike that is orange and blue it seems to work in a weird way hah My question is does anyone know anyone who has sprayed their Rays blue and have any pictures of the finished results?

  7. Looking smart mate nice and clean, nice colour choice too =] haha
  8. no worrys cut them and connected them, much louder !! thanks for sharing this fix buster =]
  9. Just to make sure before I cut them haha. Do I cut and join the wires from the headunit plug end or do I cut and join them into the box section. Because I don't have a plug that goes into the other side of the box hope this makes sense sorry for being dumb just wana make sure
  10. Hiya mate. I definetly want to get the carbon fibre side diffusers and also the carbon front lip. Not sure what to do with the rear bumper atm. Want to get some interior parts hydro dipped as I think that looks smart, new gear knob as mine is a bit worn now, Also tidy under the bonnet, And as I'm am a big fan of stanced low cars I want too get air ride when funds allow =] There will be more ofcourse haha
  11. They do not go into the female ports on the headunit, instead they are connected and soldered directly into the stereo wiring loom =] From what I have worked out by it anyways Haha
  12. Thanks everyone for the help I will have a go at this soon and let you know how loud it is haha Thanks Buster for working this out and sharing =]
  13. That's just what I wanted cheers mate =] Do you know what the yellow and the black connectors are? When I plugged them in the back of the head unit before I just got buzzing.
  14. Hiya ive had a look and remember seeing something about this before but cant find it now. since fitting my pioneer head unit the sound is quiter, if I put it up to 40 its maxium its a good volume but at that level it should be blasting out. I remember seeing something about cutting off the audio ends into the headunit and soldering them onto the loom from the stereo. Is there a full guide on how to do this, bit worried about cutting wires and stuff as it is working fine its just the sound level.
  15. Thanks mark I like to try and keep her looking nice =]
  16. That's very true doesn't damage your health just damages your bank account. It's easy to get addicted though =]
  17. Well I think I definitely have it mate. All I think is what too buy next. I don't mind though I'm sure there is worst things to spend cash on than the zed =]
  18. It did take me a while mate couldn't bear looking at it anymore though haha. I'm still loving the zed thanks but just have even more plans now and not enough money. It's saad
  19. Haha I'm afraid I had to sacrifice my tape collection in the car it was very sad mate hah
  20. Done a couple of things to the zed this weekend, fitted a pioneer avh-x3500dab head unit with help from my brother and the super guide on this forum very helpful. Looks a lot better than the standard and now can play CDs without it skipping hah And also thanks to tarmac sportz for supplying and quick delivery. fitted the new stubby aerial also much better I think =] Still lots to be done especially after having a look on the tarmac sportz website haha. Here's some pics.
  21. Thanks flex is was a job that doesn't cost a lot, but in my opinion makes a big difference.
  22. Yupp mate only the best for her =] my last car was a 2001 punto sporting she is a little bit different to drive haha Thank you =] t's after a few hours of buffing haha

Thank you she looks very nice on a nice sunny day =] Yeah I will look after her mate, yeah he is a really nice guy, I was texting him for a few weeks before I actually went down and was always friendly and helpful. Still occasionally talk to him now hah I have seen the thread but thanks for posting it, other people can have a look at some more pics and information. I will definitely enjoy the zed mate and am looking forward to modifying, when I have money ofcourse haha
  24. Hiya everyone, I have been on here a while now and introduced myself but haven't got round to doing this yet so here it is. My name is Dean I'm 25 and live in a town called Irthlingborough in Northants. I have owned my zed for nearly 2 months now and am loving it, I thought about getting one for a long time and kept looking and when this one came up for sale on here I arranged with phil to go down to Taunton too have a look. It was just what I was looking for =] This was phil's (Broomers-zed) and he had already done some modifications which include: Tinted windows Rear wiper removed Miltek exhaust system Decat pipes Removed rear badges She is a gt model and has done just over 62000 miles and is in very good condition. Here she is after a wash. I have done a few jobs so far to tidy her up which included spraying the wiper arms as one was badly corroded, new sidelight bulbs, my favourite so far is removing the front plate holder I think it gives a much tidier finish. Before After I have started to use the clay bar as the paint was a bit rough to touch and that has made a massive difference. It's a long job but definitely worth the effort. Also I brought a set of rays the other week with tyres but just need to get them refurbished before putting them on. And will be sorting out a stubby aerial soon of course =] I hope I will be able to get to some meetings with the car and meet some of you Thanks for looking Dean
  25. Thank you for the welcome =] I'm already enjoying owning the car, can't believe I didn't buy one sooner haha
