Have you seen the orange strut brace for sale! Grab it quick!
-
We did a food box thing. Every monday a cooled box of decent organic meats and veggies got dropped at the door for the next week. The price wasn't too horrific either.
Can you pm me some details of this please mate? Bored of morrisons "fresh chicken"

Have you tried using my fitness pal? I'm currently at 16st been "dieting" for last couple weeks and been very strict with inputting what I eat into the app. You pit on your details and it will tell you how many calories a day you can have.
It really does make you open your eyes in how many calories you consume a day. And if your really strict and put everything in, that sneaky chocolate bar shows up and you can't pretend like you haven't eaten it.
Really is a great help.

Silver goes well with lot's of colours imo. It's all been done before so it's entirely up to you but green, red, purple etc etc all go well.
Fyi it's a bonnet not a hood unless you're American of course.
I know I know. I was trying (and failing) to be cool like the kids haha.
-
Right it's time to do some dressing up under the hood.
Can't quite decide on what colour to go for yet.
Gonna start with some conduit to wrap around the existing cables and go from there.
So far I have a carbon dipped slam panel and carbon bonnet lifters. Really don't want it all in carbon tho. Want something that pops.
Car is silver with tan interior so instantly wanted orange but as someone on here has nailed the orange already wasn't sure of even attempting it
Any ideas please shoot!

Any one got anything or know of somewhere decent to buy them from
Thanks

Am I right in thinking that they don't really come on when driving? As it's getting enough cool air. I know they come on when stationary. Could be completely wrong though ha
-
Nope. And I'm not planning on turning it off for a long while. One crappy decision and it's really gonna hurt the wallet (or someone)
-
From what I have seen these are like rocking horse poo. Think you will sell them quite quickly!
-
Right that's 2 normals.
That will do me!
Thanks
There's nothing wrong with the car that's for sure mate
I know mate it's brilliant.
1st car I have that I can just get on and buy nice things for it, instead of repairing it!
-
Right that's 2 normals.
That will do me!
Thanks

Right this only happens when I really boot it.
I can smell burning.
When driving round the town normally everything is fine, but if I get up to the limiter that's when I can smell burning. I think i can only smell it when the window is down. Not really looked enough for a pattern of events which I may have to do at some point.
Had a search and a lot of our US friends and mentioned the same and have just said it's normal.
Any one else have this? Have had a quick look at the exhaust and can't find a carrier bag which is what I was hoping.
I have put the car in neutral and let it Coast to see if it was the brakes stuck on or something but they seem fine.
Only other thing is the clutch? Doesn't smell like clutch but then I haven't smelt that a lot in my time.
It's a 08 HR if that makes any difference.
Cheers

Hope this isn't a repost.

I'm interested in a personal plate too.
Let me know how much you want.
Or if anyone knows of any other good plates for a 08 zed let me know.
Thanks

Received and fitted today. Thanks Ian.
Fitted these and the boot divider in about 20 mins. If only all jobs were this easy.
Thanks again

Good choice. Enjoy the search!

If it's still there on the 25th I will have the HR one

The wheel specialist in Faerham are quite expensive but worth every penny. They done my wheels a few months back on my old car and they looked better than new. Think it was nearly 100 quid a wheel tho
-
There was this one a while back. It's now sold but just shows how different it can be buying from here. It's not 100% but just shows what else you can get for your budget

Surely if you want leather and manual, than this one ticks none of your boxes.
Personally looking at that interior that car doesn't look like it's been looked after.
I would recommend keep searching, keep a eye out on the for sale section here and maybe save another 500 if possible.
You might regret not getting a GT spec.
It's your decision after all just friendly advice.

Interior looks like it has seen better days.
What's your budget?

You won't have the knob on the HR, that's why you can't see it
Best pic I've got, of mine. There's basically a flat area behind the fins on the diff, that is where you want to jack it.
Edit-
Found another pic of mine, should be clearer:
Perfect. Thank you very much.
In years too come people will be googling this exact same thing and hopefully come across your pictures!

That's the first time I've seen actual pics, they're really helpful as that diagram is pants, I couldn't relate it to anything under the car.
This is good to hear. I'm hoping I'm answering a question a lot of people may have felt stupid to answer. That diagram shows you roughly where it is, but even the idea of jacking of a diff sounds wrong to some one like me. I'm expecting a flat piece with the words jack here on it!
So from the fins. Is the flat bit towards the front or the rear of the car?

Still not sure on colour. Thinking maybe purple. Can't find purple conduit. It's out of stock with the dude on ebay.
Will look a bit harder at some point
