OK so its on for Sunday but as you know its likley to be raining or showers but there usually is a good turn out. I suggest we try and arrive at cross hands at 9.30 so guys from west including myself can meet in Carmarthen Inc. zedd. Hope that's OK. Suggest the Carwe marsdons pub. Head for maccy Dee's off the rounderbout then instead of turning for the drive through head straight down to the new development and to the pub carpark. Head from there to cross hands for meet and morning coffee bacon bap. Please note that this is a brekkie meet so people are there early then shoot off after 10.30 for a run.

All guys from the east, Swansea, valleys, gorseinon etc can meet us in cross hands.

Suggested route taking an hr.approx.

Please pm me for the route as we do not want unwanted guests on the trail as it were.

Hope this is OK. It's not a massive drive but some of the best roads in the area. Hope all is OK with this schedule. Welcome any feedback and valued suggestions. Any one also got a go..pro??

I would love to conduct an experiment here. Create a new thread where EVERY member has to post a pic of their zed as it is now, today. not photoshopped, just as it is now and there shall be no comments, nothing, nawt, zip. Just pics. It would be interesting on who can hold back with their views, whether members are too embarased to post pics because of Naff colours and kits, risking being ridiculed by other members etc etc. Wonder whom would first to break. ! Maybe Admin can start such a thread. bit of fun

Why people on the internet feel they have any right to an opinion on someone else's car is beyond me , but then the owner probably doesnt give a flying **** what other people think anyway , I know I don't care.

If you don't want someone to give an opinion, don't invite the opinion in the first place. Trouble is, everyone thinks their car and mods are the best thing ever (to them, they probably are), and so crave the adoration of their peers. Mostly it works as we generally here know what works, but sometimes it doesn't.

 

As I've said before, Silly Hat Rule. If you want to wear a silly hat then that's fine, but don't expect me not to tell you it's a silly hat if you post a pic.

to ask member of their opinion is a worthless quest. I should know. My car gets slated, not by everyone but you do get the haters. However, this style thing, its very individual. I would never ask if you like my feature wall in my lounge, as its pointless and means nothing regards to your views, so why do it with cars,body kits and colours?? The car scene would be dead on its arse if every one had GM coupe' with 18" rays. We are all car mad because we "ENJOY" looking at what others have done regardless of how good or bad you think the car is.

yes 9 years max. I explained that I had 9 years 2 years ago plus this year just gone with no claims. Whether or not they took that into consideration? Agreed valuation through the broker whom was in talks with the insurer. Will also send proof of mods valuations, receipts and work done and the like.

Agree with Tricky Ricky Dicky. Get a higher Ampeage battery. Just did mine and makes a whole lot of difference on initial crank up.

As i said, if you after form rather than function any wing will do, if your asking will my bgw actually give me significant aero benefits only the APR is tested.

 

Slapping a bgw on a car in any old random position isnt going to help at all, height/position/wing size/angle etc is why APR is a grand because they have invested the time and money in r&d to give you a working wing

I ran a generic universay BGW that I bought off ebay a few years ago on another car. The one I bought was full carbon and quality was spot on. The legs you can buy seperately if you want to go higher and is a piece of wee to fit. Easy way is to mask off where the legs will sit onto the tailgate. Screw the bolts onto the legs and dab on some paint onto each bolt head. Get another guy to hold one end whilst you hold the other. Slowly lower the whole assemble onto the boot until its sits at the correct position. Once on, lift off. Do not move around. you are looking for 4 paint dots on the masking take. These then are your drilling points. Drill from top down, seal the holes with mastic, take off the maskin tape, offer the wing legs down and bolt from the underside. Done. easy.

quality is great and are very light. Legs are alloy or forged aluminium. Make sure to add spread washers washers to the underside of the boot lid.

Sorry bud but that looks crack. You say it brand new??? If so take it back. Assuming you bought it off the web, show them this pic. I would not be happy with that. Can I asked how much you paid and if it was off eBay??
