  1. Hi,

I have just brought some Eibach Spacers for my 350Z, 20mm front and 25mm for rear tyres.

I plan to match them up with my standard ray alloys with Toyo R888s.

The question I need to ask is there any danger in using the spacers. Are the spacers strong enough to put up with the forces the wheels will encounter on a track day ?

Could I have some advice on this please.

  2. If you commit another speeding offence within 3 years you are not allowed to go on another speed awareness course.

Not a conviction and not available in any way to an insurance company through the databases.

Only the police have access to who has been on awareness courses and this information is held on the police computer. As I understand it, a roadside check by the Police will not show up a speed awareness course, presumably this will only show up on a secure terminal...at least that's what I've heard.

    Pete

And even then it's not just one database, as it's different for each county i.e. You get caught in one county, you do the course (You then can't do it again for 5 years I think) But if you get caught in another county, you can go on the course again. So I've been told as it happened to a friend.

  3. The driver in the video was totally dependant on the other vehicles seeing him or her. If any of the other vehicles had made a sudden change in direction without seeing him or her, the outcome would be horrible and some poor innocent would of got involved as well.

The sound of the engine is not relevant, the driver is a complete and utter clown!

  4. If you're going to be tracking it a bit, get a couple of cooling ducts, cold air feeds made (demon tweeks sell the parts), that should help out a fair bit as well.

If you search on the US forums, you'll see plenty of pics.

When was the last time you bled the rbf600? (As iirc that fluid is meant to be done every 6 months!)

Lastly I thought it was ideal to do one cool down lap and bring it in for 10-20 mins and then head back out.

I never thought about the air ducts, I will have a look on the web. The last time the rbf600 was bled was about 12 months ago, never knew that either. Thank you for info.
