  1. Hi,

I have done a number of track days myself. The best mod I have done so far was to change the tyres to Michelin Pilot super sport tyres, reduced my laps times by a few seconds. My previous tyres were Continental sport contact three which were poor and melted after a few laps. The next best thing is to up-grade the brakes. It means you can carry more speed into bends. The last thing to do is increase the power of your engine, no point in doing it first if the rest of your car, especially if your tyres can't handle it.

  2. I am going to have the Uprev done this Friday at Horsham Developments. I already have Cobra HFC,s and the full Cobra system including the Y pipe, pipercross panel filter as well. Going to have a upper plenum spacer as well.

Question I wanted to ask, is it worth having the lower plenum spacer fitted as well ?

    I drive a 06 rev up.

  3. I have done Tae-kwon-do for about eight years, until my back started to give up. I meet some of the best people I know, yes there was a few arrogant and aggressive people I knew of, but they didn't last very long or even worse if they were the instructor their pupils would leave them. Best advice do your research or watch a few classes before joining in as a few clubs I went too were not properly run and the sparring session or pad work sessions were not properly supervised leading to excessive contact or incidents.

Best of luck in doing something I loved so much.

  4. cheers folks, my immediate thought is a bit of feed back on the pros, cons of de-cat,sport cat, stock cats?

    Hi Welcome to the forum.

All I can see about high flow cats or HFC's for short is that they my Cobra exhaust a deeper note. I have heard on this forum that some people have had problems with them on MOT's, I was told to warm the engine up before going to the MOT, so I will be doing this.
