  1. The English top order was bullied out of the series. Strap a pair on!

    Poor prep negative tactics.

Scrap the central contract nonsense and start picking on form like every other sport.

    There's only one Geoffrey Boycott!

  2. It does indeed still exist, you have to love some main dealers

The service schedule is P1,P2,P1,P3,P1,P2,P1,P3 (Repeat)

    I thought as much

The last person had a service stamp in the book that just states oil change. I guess it's all out of sync now. I'll check it tonight using this service schedule and see where it needs to be

    Cheers

  3. After buying my 350Z GT4 direct from a Nissan dealership, I read the service manual and enquired about the cost of each of the P 1 2 & 3 services.

They looked a bit bemused and said they'd never heard of them and the computer wasn't bringing anything up :headhurt:

I assume that they do still exist and should be adhered to (incidentally they do have a service dept attached)

I doubt I'll be taking my zed there anyway as they'd fitted Accelera tyres on the front (changed immediately) doesn't inspire confidence

  4. Re your notchy change from 1st to 2nd when cold - I've started just going straight to 3rd ( i remember reading ages ago that this was how you had to treat manual Ferraris) rather than try and force it. I'm in north yorkshire (just) and the only place I'd consider for engine work is Clarkson 4x4 near skipton - hes a landrover specialist but he builds 4wd offroad racing buggies powered by the 350z engine. Anyway hes probably no nearer to you than atkins.

Thanks for the advice gareth29, I'll give it a try later on . . . . . . . I'll check Clarkson 4x4 website, there won't be much difference between Malton and Skipton.

  5. Surprised there aren't more shouts for Dodo juice products on here??

I gave my Zed a pre winter wax using all dodo juice products as follows; born to be mild shampoo, basics of bling clay bar with born slippy lube, more BTBM, lime prime and finally two coats of banana armour (yellow zed)

Interim washes using more BTBM with a coat of red mist tropical. Beads like crazy, shines like a good 'en B)

End of Feb (3 months later) will be due two further coats of banana armour after washing with BTBM

May will bring an annual professional detail, looking good for the summer . . . . . . . .

  6. Morning all

Bought my first Zed during August this year and couldn't be happier! Got the yellow GT4 from a local Nissan dealers after years of drooling over them . . . . . .

Searched the internet after the becoming concerned over the notchy 2nd gear change when cold, which I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about!

Dropped on this website and was extremely impressed so I thought I'd jump on board!

Going for the oil change with Molyslip and will probably do the diff at the same time.

My problem is I'm fussy over who I'll allow to work on my car and want the best as I'm sure everybody else on here does too

My local Nissan dealers are Harratts in Pontefract or Wakefield however they may not necessarily be the best places to take my car for service/repairs

Any advice on where best to take my Zed in the West Yorkshire area please?

    Any advice greatly appreciated . . . . . :teeth:
