  1. Its a great mod....don't worry too much about the numbers though.

Remember its all about the drive ability afterwards B)

Exactly! Straight on to the M62 for a good blast!

and to loss your licence

That actually happened to a mate of mine. He had his 2ltr Focus Super chipped and on the drive home got busted doing 120mph odd on the motorway. :surrender::lol: Doh!

Got an UpRev booked myself Tigerzed so will be interested to see how yours goes. ;) End of Feb though for mine so got to wait.

I'm keeping well in with my boss ...... a bloke at work got clocked on the M621 Leeds and was bricking it facing a ban but work wrote a letter saying his car was essential for work due to his hours. He got a giddy fine but escaped a ban!

I don't do waiting so I was chuffed when RS could fit me in so soon! I'll let you know how I get on and it's Paul by the way :)

Hope the old girl does you proud mate!

Sound job Kev. I was going to get in touch once it was done! I hope I get equally good results. I'll let you know if you're interested?

  3. Poorboys is good stuff but I don't like the Megs but again, it's all down to personal preference. I use all dodo juice products, they get really good reviews on detailing world forum. If I'm claying I wash with born to be mild, clay with basics of bling clay bar plus born slippy lube, wash again with BTBM, coat of lime prime then two coats of banana armour wax. All available online usually next day delivery

  4. Thanks guys! Apparently when using the clay bar you also have to use a 'Quick Detailing Spray'. I have Demon Shine spray wax, cheap and cheerful stuff, would this be a good lubricant to use when using the clay bar? I have a tonne of it in a tub which I pour into a spray gun and used to use that to wax all my old crappy cars, would it do the job?

I've never heard of a quick detailer being used as a lube and wouldn't use one myself, but I'm no expert. You certainly don't have to as you can use water however I personally would use a genuine lube. My own preference is dodo juice born slippy

  5. Do you still have the stock exhaust on? Normally people replace that (or at least the Y Pipe) as its restrictive and will reduce the amount of BHP the map frees up.

It came with the plenum spacer and japspeed exhaust but no uprev. I wouldn't have chosen the japspeed personally, but it's on now . . . . .

  6. The biggest thing I noticed was initial pick up from a standing start.

It was awful below 3k before, so much better now!

That's good to hear actually as I've noticed it's not exactly the fastest out of the blocks . . . . . .

  8. Booked in for an UpRev at RS Tuning, Leeds, next Tuesday 4th Feb.

    Heard big things about them, hope I won't be disappointed . . . . . . !

It's like waiting for Santa all over again :D

  9. I have two male hungarian vizslas one 3 the other 4 who kept fighting. I've had dogs for 35 years with no problems. I got in a dog behaviour specialist who sorted it in one visit. He was ex police. He said the same as others on here no hitting or raising your voice. Calm leadership the dogs need to find their place in the pack. Isolation for bad behaviour such as barking. Shouting encourages the dogs as they think you are joining in. Nipping is associated with domination and should be dealt with by isolating the dog if it's persistent.

  10. Just laugh at idiots like that and watch him get wound up. The more wound up he gets the more you laugh and the cycle continues. He obviously didn't have the bottle to get out or he would have.

Couldn't give a monkeys if I see an idiot like that in a ditch pesonally but like others have said, its the innocent folk they take down with them who I feel for
