  1. That's unreal ay.

The body's ability to maintain a steady core temperature during extreme cold is quite a thing. Cold water blackout is a real however. I definitely couldn't take ice baths without training for it ie breath work and cold showers. To panic would be the worst thing to do, so to create neurology for a high stresser situation aids the brain in tackling stress going forward.

100% they look so strange tucked way in under the arch. I have some plans for the Rays in the new year. I'm hoping to smooth out the Dimples and get them recoated in gloss black.

They look nice with the plans you've said re the dimple delete

Couldn't wait to play with my new toy. Tomorrow dip should be rather lively having had a night to chill following lows of -3° #litework

We'll be running our North Wales Day out to kick things off, well and truly blowing the Winter cobwebs away. North Wales has proven a very popular event, to which this side of Carlisle you can't beat the views of the Snowdonian backdrop.

Join us for some of the best roads in the UK on our route up to Anglesey, its completely free to join - all you have to do is turn up and enjoy.

Make sure you add your name below if going, so we can gauge numbers to keep the venue updated.

    Date:

    Sunday 31st March

The plan is to meet up for breakfast and leave around 9am to head out to Wales. I've booked us in at a stunning venue on Anglesey island which normally hosts car owners club meets for a drink and bit to eat. Then part way home depending on interest il book us in for dinner at a great spot we've been too before. Circa 200 miles from the breakfast meet point, out for the drive to Angley and back for dinner.

Couple hours into the drive we'll all meet here for a toilet break, stretch our legs, take some nice pictures and provides a chance to change car order.

    Conwy Falls Cafe A5

    Pentrefoelas

    Betws-y-Coed

Full route to go up the day before or DM for early preview 👌

Breakfast in England, Lunch in Anglesey & Dinner in Wales - Can't say fairer than that 😁

    Cheers

  6. That's the front brace, bolt on/off item shown below - 8 bolts. Forums are great places for info on these cars.

    Aftermarket item available also.

Exhaust wise, a used stainless item can be had cheap - all ideas and yours looks a lovely example otherwise.

  7. Doesn't sound too bad and the last few MOT's it's passed without bother, having done a few thousand miles between. Very much doubt the actual front subframe is beyond keeping, it'll more than likely be the front chassis brace which is bolt on/off for a decent used item. Same with the w brace in the middle, as the rear subframe is aluminium.

Brakes are wear and tear to which every car will need them replacing. Considering you only paid £5000 for the car some 6yrs ago and have never replaced these items, mostly wear and tear I feel she at least deserves those.

Despite there being quite a few other patrons there, the service from the kitchen and staff was very well organised and efficient.

Food was delivered a table at a time piping hot and delicious.

May not be as big as Caffeine and Machine where there are alot of other cars to see, but for a club meet and food, I actually find it a more relaxed and homely place to eat and catch up.

    Top venue

    Thanks for organising this @davey_83

Plus they've only been open 3 months, we've got in really early. It's practically a brand new venue. In 2024 this place will be very busy.

    Love this venue.

    Motorsport themes EVERYWHERE.

    Even the wash basinsB)

They leave various FREE detailing samples dotted around the venue too.

    Paint sealant

    Shampoo

    Wheel cleaner

    Glass cleaner

This visit I helped myself to some fallout remover :teeth:

It's the best, they actually care about customers to a level we've not experienced before. They even let you control the cinema TV at the venue 😁
