Criminal damage is (loosely) defined as preventing a person from using his or her property in its intended manner.  No physical "damage", as it is traditionally defined, has to be inflicted on the property. For example intentionally knocking a police officer's hat off his/her head is actually criminal damage.

    So is criminal damage. ;)

    I didn't know that  :surrender:

Never heard that used before, cornered like a house fly.

But it did though!! Before i even made a gear change it was already down the road, over the hill, round the bends, past the church, under the bridge, round the lake, through the tunnel and probably parked up at home.

    Not the 330GT 2+2?

This actually made me laugh out loud. Whoever gave the all clear for this design needs a swift kick to the nuts.

  4. Has to be said. The VX220 is an awesome car. I can remember when i had my Celica GT4 -which was modded down to the wheel nuts, and was rapid to say the least- i came across a VX220 in Black. Firstly, it looked like a symphony of evil, secondly, it left me standing with my foot to the floor trying to keep up with it. Didn't even get near, absolutely untouchable. Cornered like a house fly .

Police wouldn't get involved as they would have no powers to deal with it. Unfortunately for the OP it is a civil matter. Police only have powers to deal when access to the highway is blocked (ie you are parked on your drive and someone blocks you in).

https://www.askthe.police.uk/content/Q441.htm I would suggest reading this link before taking any action. If you move the vehicle you can find yourself liable for any damage caused plus possibly other criminal offences including taking a MV without the owner's consent. As a civil matter there are a number of steps/hoops you have to jump through before you can move it, by which time, unless it's an abandoned vehicle it will have likely have gone anyway.

You could always hope the owner isn't clued up on the law and leave a note politely saying if it continues you will report it to the police and have them recover the vehicle at the owner's cost. Stopped the issue with someone that recently took to parking their car across my garage.

But you wouldn't be taking it anywhere, you'd be moving it a couple of feet. Surely there is a difference.

  6. I sold my 2005 DE for £4500 with 88K miles on the clock. No rust. It had a re-map @ Abbey and a smattering of after-market upgrades. I think i spent around 3k on upgrades in total over the 4 years i had it. Bear in mind, mine was recorded as a CATD but had no structural/chassis damage. i think it was a fair price for what it was.

  7. Poor judgement on the part of the Morgan driver. Even if the Pug driver was moving on a bit, you still need to have a good look when joining another road from a junction. Morgan driver needs a slap IMO.

  8. i can remember reading somewhere that the last time Russia decided to press the red button was in the mid-nineties. 3 men should've been in the control centre to press 3 buttons at the same time after agreeing an attack on Russia was imminent. But there was only one officer who was also a part-time chef. The other two who should've been there were doing there daytime jobs.

What this single officer noticed was, a US sub was testing its missile launches out to sea very close to Russia in the Baltic and came up on radar. In a panic he has some how managed to press all three buttons on his own (didn't explain how) and launched a nuke. Due to the missile being outisde in the Russian cold for a long time, after take off it lost power and fell back to the ground like an ACME anvil. Its destination? Could've been NY, London or Washington apparently.

    Can't rely on Russian technology.

How much truth is in that god only knows but if any of it is true, the knee-jerk reaction from Russia is not appealing.

  9. The old NSX is a great car. Chassis design had input and influence by none other than Senna himself don't you know ( smokes fag with long extension in a ruby gown )

A brilliant car with a screaming NA that rivals the standard RB26DET that's , as we know, turbo charged.

Couldn't give a toss about the badge. In fact, i like that it's not of a luxury brand just to show the badge means nothing.

  10. George Foreman and Rocky Marciano.

George because he was just a monster of a man whose punch was like getting hit by Juggernaut.

Rocky because i don't think he ever lost his belt and retired as champion. He also had an amazing jab.

  11. 80k? Nah thanks, i'll pass. I do quite like it but for that money , it's just pure stupidity. If John Smith modified his 500 Arbarth on his driveway up to 400 hp i doubt it'd be worth 80k. Even if it were carbon-fibre clad. No, no no no. You can go as fast for a lot less. I mean, that's what it's all about, going fast.

  12. i ran HFCs without a re-map for a year with no issues. Yes the EML came on after 1k miles but the re-map @ Abbey sorted that out.

And yes, the zed will run lean once the decats or HFCs are on.

Can you explain just how the engine runs lean with decats. and by how much, AFR etc, as air fuel is determined by incoming airflow, and lambda feedback, so anything that increases/decreases this will be compensated for by lambda feedback,

so in order for the ECU not to be able to compensate AFRs would need to be way out of range which decats alone would not do, if this was the case a lot of Z would be in a bad state.

When i took it to Abbey, and had a run as it was before the map, i asked Mark if it was running rich or lean, and iirc, i remember being surprised when he said "lean", which was the opposite of what i thought. I may have remembered that wrong. If you think it's wrong, then just disregard what i said, but i was basing it from that memory, not from my mechanical know-how.

  13. Yeah, the civic has lost it's way a bit a think it terms of design. It's gone from the grocery-go-getter-granny mobile to 14 year old's wet dream with more angles than a dodecagon. And that triple exhaust :yuck: it's not a tossing LFA.
