pedal comes off easy with 2 nuts, and unplug sensor .I took the gamble on a used one with pedal £30,but thats up to you! -

I same fault,fitted new sensor on accelerator pedal side.That was 2 years ago,been ok since. !

thanks for the info, but i cant get my head around why the washers are working on tailgate+headlights and not on windscreen!

rear wiper+washer working+headlight washers ,but front screen is not! noticed pump is not making a noise on that application.checked fuses ok.anybody with any ideas?
