I tried them. Thought I'd get a big intake noise increase but it was very little different. Looks and quality I'd give them 10/10. Performance increase ............... maybe?
  2. Thanks, glad that's cleared up much appreciated
  3. Just trying to work out when the first service is due on my 370Z? I belive it is 9000 miles or one year same as the 350Z? The only reference I can find in my service book refers to 3750 miles/3 months or 7000 miles/9 months dependant on driving conditions but nothing relating to 9000/12 momths? Probably got my thick head on but if someone can advise and clear this up it would be much appreciated.
  4. Mine was done with a proper db meter on a tripod set to exhaust height and measured 500mm from centre/45 degree from exhausts and 3/4 throttle ........ 119.9 db!
  5. I tried the short tails, they were 119.9db at 4,750rpm! I actually think they were a lot louder than this on the go. One run and I took them off.
  6. Great choice .......... but them I'm biased
  7. It's a deeper tone overall i.e. noticeable increase when fired up from cold and noticeable throughout the gears. Its a subtle change and its easy to want more but I'm happy with it. I did like the Nismo exhaust note when I first test drove, just a slightly raspier/louder version of the same.
  8. Hiya, Fitted the Berk HFC's to the Nismo 370. Did them myself and it took me getting on for 4hrs to fit at home i.e. on ramps. The line and fit was spot on, all flanges and bolt holes were correct hence no rubbing/knocking or such like issues. The Berks have marginally increased noise for the good but not massively louder. I actually thought they were quite subtle but when I took a friend out last week and gave it some pedal he immediately asked what had I done to the exhaust and was it still the stock Nismo box. Can't say s it feels any faster but bought mine just for audible enhancement so tick in the box. A long shot but I'm Midlands if you wanted to have a run/listen?
  9. May be worth Nismo owners checking their front springs for transportation packers as I just found 3 either side on mine still in situ!! Apparently it's common not to be picked up on PDI and reading forums stateside more get left on than taken off. Not good
  10. Ok, update ................. finally got round to fitting the Berk HFC's. The Berks fit was spot on and overall it took around 4 hours to complete the job. The exhaust note is pretty much the same although is marginally louder. There is definitely an increase in noise although if I were honest a little more would have been nice. That said, HFC's do just that i.e. flow more air not delete cats or silencers. May be in the mind but it feels a tad quicker? I suspect some may say more noise and others it's just enough, either way mine will be staying on!
  11. Thanks guys. I may take a punt and buy a set from overseas as they allegedly come as a kit. I can always do some tweaking if needed.
  12. As the title, do any of the site sponsors sell 370Z bonnet lifters or can anyone point me to who does, preferably UK. If all fails then looks to be the States or Hong Kong! Thanks .........
  13. I'll give some feedback on the Berks when fitted. The K&N typhoons are fiited, can't say as I can tell much difference one way or the other despite K&N saying they dyno them at around 10+ bhp. I was looking for a little more induction noise which wasn't the case, anyway they look prurdy! A few minor cosmetic things to do and I will be making a camcorder mount soon. It's just wait for spring and then Nurburgring/Spa to really stretch the cars legs.
