How can you drop it down when the motor doesn't work? Haven't had chance to have another go since my first post

Isn't it attached to the mechanism so I can't remove the inner door card that has 12 bolts?

Hi, my Zed has the steering wheel controls and bluetooth, but not the adaptor. I'm looking to replace the head unit anyway, would I still need to buy an adaptor if I get a new head unit?

Also looking at getting a rear view camera installed at the same time, can someone recommend one from ebay or similar?

I've got a problem with possibly both window motors failed on my new Zed. I attempted to carry out the clean first to see if that helps but at the stage of the guide where I put the window down to remove the bolts in order to remove the glass I couldn't get it to move at all. Not being able to remove the glass meant I couldn't remove the internal part of the door and couldn't progress to removing the motor for cleaning.

I'm fairly sure the previous owner has already attempted this because it looked like the door card had been removed before so I'm going to have to buy new motors but how will I fit them if I can't remove the glass?

As always help is much appreciated!

Also, when buying the window motors any hints at other things to replace/upgrade (speakers?) or anything from the trader that'd be good to get at the same time (car is relatively standard).

Am thinking about options for styling the Zed but I think it's a lot harder with a black Zed than other cars as you don't see the detail or change in style so clearly. I'm thinking of using another subtle colour, or carbon products. Anyone done this already, pics? I'm not looking for crazy body kits, but change in bumper, skirts, diffuser.

Hi, thought this would a common question but couldn't find anything. I'm thinking of changing the handbrake and gear lever etc, found the guide for the gear lever but not for the handbrake. Is it simple? Will any universal replacement fit or does it have to be specific?

Hi all, just a quick update. Managed to get hold of a diagnostic reader thingy, plugged it in, only errors we're re the cats being taken out and put back so cleared the error and all is well.

Oh, and I'm now the owner of a black GT spec Zed. Thanks for the replies helping me on the way to buying this gorgeous car.

I'm willing to wait for the right one but have money ready to purchase. I'm in the South West, happy to travel but reluctant to make too many journeys the length or width of the country.

Hi all, hoping someone can help me out. I've been looking to purchase a 350z for a while and think I've found a sound one but there's an issue.

The cars been decatted and the engine light is on. It drives as you'd normally expect, but for peace of mind I asked for the cats to be put back on to make sure it's only the decat that's causing the light. After the cats we're put back the light stayed on so I've not purchased the car. I'm keen to though and the seller is trying to get it sorted.

Am I right in thinking the ecu would need to be reset to forget and then recheck for the lambda sensor, or would it go off if there wasn't a problem?

Any advise appreciated. Looking forward to joining the community hopefully sooner rather than later.
