  1. Looking at the Seibon carbon ts bonnet, is it possible/easy to just get a HR bonnet and get someone to replicate the vents?

I'm not fussed about carbon or not and thought this might be a way around paying £650 for a bonnet, but would the customising negate the saving on the HR bonnet?

    Anyone done this?

  2. Hi, if the weather ever let's up I'm going to spend a bit of time on the Zed today. Been searching for a guide to getting at the ignition wiring for putting an engine start button in, I know there are 4 screws for the lower steering column, but does it just come away then or do I have to take anything else off?

Also, anyone that has done this already, which wires do I need? I can check anyway but just wanted to double check with the knowledgeable people on here.

    Cheers

  3. Hi, anyone out there that has an amuse front bumper can advise of the clearance when compared to standard front bumper? Looking at getting one but with mine being lowered already I'm concerned about needing to change springs.

    Cheers

  4. Morning all,

Thinking of fitting an engine start button and was on here mid week when I found someone had installed and done a proper write up on how to do it, but you think I can find it now?

All the searches I'm doing just show pictures of them fitted, but not a guide.

I know it's here somewhere, anyone know where?

    Cheers

  5. Had my recently purchased Zed in for a service today at Pro Garage in Bristol. Service went smoothly and had the owner check the car out and apart from a couple of minor things the car is all good.

Also got my new window motors (thank you Clarke Motorsport) fitted by Pro Garage too whilst it was there and the welcome and customer service was first class. The time spent on my car was far more than I was paying for and the service and window motor fitting was way under what it would've cost me for just a service at my local dealers.

Anyone looking to get their car looked at/serviced/worked on in the Bristol/South West area I can recommend this garage. This is the first time I've used them but trusted friends have used him for a few years now.

Leighton, the owner, also has a track record of tuning many powerful cars and had one of his cars featured in Jap Performance magazine recently.

It's great to be able to use my windows for the first time since buying the car! Now I'm off to have a look at head units and bumpers.

Now as soon as they weather is ok I can get some photos and upload them as a proper intro. Here's to many years of Zed ownership.
