Mine's a bit dodgy round the top part of the teeth where they go into a point. I ran a blade around the edges of the painted area as soon as I finished spraying, hoping that dip wouldn't lift when I pulled the masking tape off. Rear valance at the weekend and maybe badges...

Having trouble finding the correct threaded Buddy Club knob so I decided to make a slightly more permanent knob out of nylon. Made it bigger than the wooden one and a bit shorter. Really like it actually. Got more weight to it and still gives good leverage....could be a keeper. Hard to see from the photo but there are 3 shallow grooves at the top and 2 larger ones at the bottom. Also dipped my fangs last night:

Anyone know a good mechanic in West Yorkshire? I'm after someone to fit some test pipes to my 370. Would normally go to RS Tuning in Leeds but they don't work on Saturdays. Doesn't have to be a specialist, just someone competent and trustworthy. I would do it myself but heard it's pretty awkward if you don't have the correct tools...?

Cheers dude. I wanted to make one out of nylon but didn't have the right sized tap to match the shift thread. I drilled the wood a bit too small and let it cut it's own thread when screwing it on. Quite like having a but more leverage with the Zed's "agricultural box, so I've ordered a 70mm extension to go on as well. Should look pretty sweet.

Well, I was supposed to be fitting my Buddy Club Type A gear knob. Had a struggle getting the OEM knob off and ended up mangling it! The Buddy Club knob was 12x1.25 instead of 10x1.25....! I was knob-less.... Had to get the old lathe into life and turn down some ratty wooden pole: Could do with some varnish but I actually quite like the feel of it. Got some good leverage, making changes a little easier... Correct size Buddy Club should arrive tomorrow...

Sweet, well owner has a GTR (R35) which he is slowly turning into an animal so I'm hoping they should be clued up on 370's...

Are there any good indys round the West Yorkshire area? RS Tuning in Leeds spring to mind. Just a bit reluctant to get stuff done out of Nissan in case something break after the warranty has expired. Nissan will then be less inclined to contribute to the repair...

Bit of a shot in the dark but.... my Golf R32 used to make a faint high pitched dog whistle type noise. Could only hear it with the bonnet up, engine running. Turned out it was the fuel rail, perfectly normal.

Anyone have a sound clip of a 370 with decats and standard exhaust?

Can this be done on the 370? Looking for a cheap fix to bring out some noise!

Oh right. I've had a look at Parkers actually. From the valuation I did on there, it seems the grey on is at a good price. Just deciding on taking the plunge or not! Scary/exciting stuff with a lot of man maths involved.
