I wish stuck at work all day..... Saving hard for next mod Maybe I'll get chance for a quick rinse after work -

Cheers

Thank you for your comment I think darker alloys against a lighter colour car looks better it's good that I'm not the only one thinks so. I wanted to get them done sooner rather than later as I had a mishap with a kerb not long after taking delivery but alls we'll that ends well
-
Thanks I'll try n get it cleaned before I visit you

Nice one List of to do's still growing gonna get suspension as I want it then start lookin at body. I'm thinking carbon fibre .... Splitter, steps spoiler and so on....better get back on the overtime
-
Thank you still plenty to do but gotta do bit each month

Re suspension and spacers Lookin for 30mm ish drop to close the gap between the arch and the wheel and at same get spacers done gonna go either 25/20 or 25 all round as that seems the most popular choices I've seen

Hi I got my silver 2010 coupe in oct 2013 when I first I got it Loved everything about it and then joined this forum Suddenly had a to do list that even now is still growing, anyway here goes the story so far First mod cf nismo gear knob thanks to redline on here. Great trader very helpfull answered all my questions, arrived quickly and was so much nicer than it looked in the pics Next to do was exhaust as we are all aware the stock system sounds pitiful. Wanted (and still do) invidia Gemini with rolled ti tips but budget means I have to wait so got a centre back custom built by a friend who runs a garage local to me. Will post sound vid when I figure out how:) Next was wheels Got the done at TWS great service great price really friemdly people very pleased with result Here she is now Next up suspension and spacers goin over to see CS soon hope to get done mid April Will post more pics as and when Andy

Hi and welcome The zed in any form is pure art, if you get one you won't regret it Joining this forum is a great idea lots of very friendly and knowledgable people
-
Welcome Lovely choice of car, bet that exhaust sounds sweet. You're lucky mine had stock exhaust when I bought it had to change it ASAP as the stock exhaust doesn't sound right for a sports car such as the zed

Just been confirmed going over at midday to discuss options and prices etc. be great if you have time to drop in, love to see your car, looks great in the pics I looked up your post about the swift springs.
-
Hi, it's your choice but if it was me which it was last October go for the zed. I got a 60 plate coupe gt with a shade over 20k miles, extended warranty (3 yrs) thrown in from a dealer with a service done before I picked it up for £18500. Looked at other Marques BMW, merc, Audi etc for the same money but no where near such a low mileage or spec level for that price either had to sacrifice spec or mileage but with the zed I got the lot and couldn't be happier. Great car bargain price loads more smiles per mile. My only regret is I didn't get a zed sooner ( my opinion) good luck hope you find what you're lookin for

Sorry to drag up an old thread but there aren't too many 370's on here and I've just found this one (looks very similar to mine) Lovely looking zed, the stance looks great with the swift springs.

Hi Scotty thanks for that very detailed reply, I'm heading over to CS next Monday afternoon to discuss options. It would be great to see your zed and meet a fellow zed fan Did you have to order your springs from over the pond or was a trader on here able to help ? I too am intending to remove the tyre deflectors and chin spoiler once lowered as I feel it looks a little cluttered, think it will look better with just a body coloured front splitter. Only had my zed for 5 months so only just starting on the mods, just pc'd my rays, centre back exhaust and got a cf gear knob but feel somewhat addicted Think lowering and spacers is a good next step hence the visit to CS Look forward to seeing your zed, be good to see how it looks lowered and spacered as pics on net seldom do these beautiful cars justice. Cheers Andy

Sweet I'm working nights next week so could drive over Monday afternoon if that's ok
-
Food for thought would it be beneficial maybe to have a drive over to discuss options as that way we could discuss pros and cons of what I would like to achieve and what is financially viable
-
Hi again CS thanks for your input I was going to contact you about this. I know the Eibachs are a popular choice but I would really like to get a little extra drop if that makes sense . Is this something you could help with or would I be looking at unnecessary expense and hassle to go that extra 10mm from the ARK GT-s springs
-
Thanks for your input I reckon I better get on the search button for prices any suggestions appreciated
-
Hi, I have decided to lower my 370z coupe and have decided on one of the following choices 1. ARK GT-s which according to the info I have found will give a drop of F 35mm R 30mm approx 2. Eibach lowering springs which will give a drop of F25mm. R20mm approx I am undecided between these two options, I think I would prefer the extra 10 mm drop from the ARK GT-s as I feel this would better suit the look that I'm after but the questions I have are......would a 35/30 drop give me any alignment issues and if so what are my options to overcome them ? Also I intend to fit spacers in which case would I suffer from any rubbing around the arches and again if so what would be my options to remedy this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this mod is next on my to do list so if you have any words of wisdom please chip in. Thanks for any advice you can offer Andy
