Ha ha, love these threads, however
Regardless if it's a fast/great/competent car it's still a bog standard looking bmw, just like an audi, they just don't do nothing for me (with the exception of the r8)

A small update: I had my pre-op last Thursday and my blood pressure was measured at 160/120, which is apparently ludicrously high!
So I had to have readings taken at the GPs last Friday and then again on Monday to see if it was being in "a hospital environment" which was causing my pressure to soar. Monday's reading was 140/100 so, as that was still too high, I had to have 24 hour monitoring where the results came down to a more respectable 125/87.
The hospital are satisfied with those so I'm all systems go for admission first thing tomorrow morning.
I'm honestly hoping I can be back on my feet and grafting sooner rather than later as I hate the fact that people have paid deposits and agreed dates, only for me to have to reschedule due to this. I realise it's unavoidable, but it's still not how I want to be doing things.
It also means I'm now officially behind with absolutely everything!
Anyhoo, I'll shush now and go back to getting myself ready for tomorrow...
Hope all goes ok and a speedy recovery
Very speedy actually as want my roadster done for the summer

Good result - I paid £90 a corner for my powder coat refurb so that all 4 matched, after a kerb jumped out and bit a rear wheel
Some of these curbs are feckers ya know, one jumped out at me last week
Well done to the OP for getting a result

Mine aren't as bad as the photos, but they are getting worse. Its the rivets that have bent not the bar. I could just bend them back. But I wouldn't want to snap them off completely. I chatted to a guy in Exeter dealership and he sounded like he know what he was talking about. He's had a zed himself. I've emailed him this too. The roof still works and is lubricated regularly. If the dealership can't help, who can? :/
If you do take it there, get a quote first or at least a rough cost

Done it on a bike a few times but never in a car
Great circuit, one of my favourites
Bit off topic but what would be good time on a car track day in a standard Z, good weather conditions

I need some urgent advice guys, I called my insurer admiral on Sunday, told them about the accident they asked if I need a replacement car to which I answered yes as mine is un-drivable they then put me through to Albany assistance who will provide an equivalent car and deal with any repairs, car turned up on Monday Audi A5 convertible, get a call today from the girl who hit me insurers tesco offering a car and repairs which I declined as its all in hand, they asked if I was using Albany and said that I will be liable for any costs over £60 per day, so should I be going through admiral and Albany or should I be using her insurance for all repairs and hire car? Car is supposed to be getting picked up this evening by the garage but I will cancel if I have to, any advice appreciated
Check it out with your insurance company, they should be covering the costs (and claim it back) not you
Anyway, feel for you mate, I only curbed my wheel and was heart broken
