Yu guys are astounding the effort you put in to help other zeds whose owners may not be so technically able (or have the space!) Now all we need is you to move the zed shed to the Midlands so you are nearer to me
hope you have a cracking xmas.

Welcome from a fellow Midlander, just South of Derby.
Enjoy the car and watch out for zeditis, highly contagious, expensive and fun!
-
Interested in the net if a sensible price.

Just seen busters headlight tint, looks good and will deff blend in well with my matt grey!
Looks like I will be adding head light tints to my ever increasing list!

Spent the day at CS having coilovers etc, as always it's a pleasure dealing with Mitz (just wish my bank account felt the same )
seriously though as always excellent service, car looks great (will post pics as soon as i can) Felt the difference on the drive home but will have to play with settings over next few weeks.
didn't have time for geo so will get that sorted this w/end.
car starting to look sorted now (imo)
will start on interior in new year

Hi and welcome from a fellow Derbyshire Z owner, just South of Derby.
Could have done with your electrical services last month.
I'm sure you will find the right z and enjoy it.

Just done mine, basically the letter of authority to make plates should come with new tax disc and MOT, once you have the letter you can legitimately have plates made and fitted & put replacement tax disc on display.

MPG!
in 350Z General
Mostly get 17 mpg which everything considered is fine by me for a "toy" however last sat drove sensibly -never above 3, 000 rpm on a trip to buster(mostly motorway) and got over 35mpg but was bored to tears so came back a different route on nicer roads and mpg back to normal.
If you want economy you have to sacrifice the reason for owning a zed (imo)

Thanks Mitz

My floor mats are very worn and I want to replace them but after market mats look cheap and nasty. Does anyone have new or used mats in good condition that they want to sell.

Remember driving there to pick up a body shell for a Nissan Stanza way back when the garage I worked at wrecked a customer's car that was In for service. Those were the days of the 280Z - my favourite car of the time.

Met Buster from the zed shed today.
Buster helped with fitting stevey200's leather seats.
They look so much better than cloth and sit lower so now I have some headroom!
Buster, It was good of you to help and it was great seeing your zed's and some of the mods you've done, just when i thought my spending was coming to an end!!! Now I have lots more to spend money on.
And now i am the proud owner of a zed shed sticker.

R35, I've kind of already agreed to buy off another member, but if it falls through I will get back to you.
OV53 that is what i was hoping to hear, as i dont currently have air bags is there any harm in not connecting them?
-
Hi, I want to fit leather seats but cloth are manual and leather electric with air bags etc. I need to be able to adjust seat.
Has anyone done this swop and did you have any problems i.e. is loom compatible?
-
Grundy, aside from a technical fault with my first choice vinyl which meant choosing an alternative the job takes three - five days.
There are a couple of air bubbles that i noticed this morning but i popped into Paul's today and he smoothed them without any effort.
Paul is sound and really does a great job, i am sure you will be more than happy.

My thoughts exactly, who wants to run with the herd?

Leather seats from stevey200 ?

Hi Buster, if I can sort it with Stevey is this w/end any good?
You let me know when is good for you.
Apart from my car and the Crispy Kremes is there anything you need me to bring? Beers?
-
Turtle, no idea of weight but I reckon taking the rear wiper of makes up for it, and looks far better!
-
Crispy Kremes! Sounds good to me!

On the back of posts stating how cheap sky were I phoned them for a quote for my zed.
48yr old 73% protected no claims 6,000 mile p.a. 2nd car (3rd if you count Company car) 3 points (sp30) They couldn't beat esure @£420.00
So always worth checking round as every driver and circumstance are different.

Hi,
Cheeky question but i am thinking of buying seats from Stevey200 who is breaking his zed and lives near you.
As I have no chance of getting seats in my car I was wondering if you guys would be willing to help me swop seats at the zed shed in return for my fabric covered seats (if they are any use) and / or a drink.
I live in Derby and can't think of a sensible way of getting seats to me.
Any help would be much appreciated.

+1 regarding CS in LeIcester, he's managed to clean my bank account for the last two months but the zed is sooo much better for it told my wife eating is so over rated, especially this time of year.
