  1. Just had a non resonated y pipe back cobra fitted at cougar store today and I could not be happier, barely any drone at cruising speed and a fantastic noise when the taps are open

  2. My mrs has a 58 plate 2.0 tfsi dsg roadster. After a week of owning it the window regulator failed, thankfully the dealer fixed it under warranty. The interior is very well put together and made with quality materials, the Bose is signifanctly better than the 350z (maybe just because it's newer). As for driving I do find it a tad boring compared to my 350z but maybe that's partially down to the gearbox, which is phenomenal but does take a bit of the pleasure out of driving. It also gets nowhere near the amount of compliments when parked next mine on the drive whilst I'm cleaning them.

  3. I am reluctantly selling this as I have upgraded to an Xbox one and this isn't compatible. This is a serious bit of kit if you are after a wheel for gaming then look no further. It features 900 degrees of wheel rotation, very strong force feedback, rumble motors for even more realism, 6 speed h shifter and sequential shifters, fully functioning clutch pedal. You can also dial in 5 different sets of settings for sensitivity, feedback strength and drift modes. The wheel works wirelessly with Xbox 360 and with a wire for PC and ps3. Full instructions are on the fanatec website. I am supplying 2 sets of pedals with this as fanatec sent me a new set under warranty due to an over sensitive brake pedal(this is a common fault). One set of pedals has been modified as the second set also developed this problem. The modded set are now decent once calibrated, but you will still need to dial in a dead zone on the game settings. This is not a cheap setup that you buy in Argos for £60 it cost me £300, everything works as it should and I am looking at £140ono collected from Wrexham, I am travelling from Wrexham to Kent on the 27th so can meet along the m6 or bottom half of m1.

  4. I just took some sunews off which I would imagine are in the same category and they were terrible! I couldn't plant my foot at all in any gear up to 4th in the wet. Now running supersports and the difference is massive! Buy the best you can even if it's not the supersports, the more you can spend the better.

  5. I was looking at a da about a year ago but I was persuaded to get a rotary, I was scared of damaging the paint with it as I'm sure you've heard horror stories about rotary polishers yourself. I took the plunge and had a practice run on my track car and found that it wasn't difficult at all, as long as you keep it moving and use a good pad/compound combo you shouldn't have any problems and it is a lot quicker to get results than a da.

  6. I wasn't planning on hibernating mine until today, the sunew ditch finders are so bad it spins at half throttle in 3rd if the road is anything but dry! I can't believe these tyres are allowed to be sold! So the zed is going in the garage and I'm borrowing an unused polo blue motion while I save over winter for some good tyres.

  7. Had an s2k a few years ago and now own a 350z. As everyone has said both quite different. I found the s2k was absolutely brilliant in the dry and vtec is like a drug. In the wet, however, it was very twitchy and a bit of a handful. I crashed mine in the wet whilst not even pressing on. To live with I found the s2k quite uncomfortable, but then I am 6' 4", it was also quite loud and very raw. The z is a much better gt car, not quite as agile as the honda but a lot easier to drive hard, I also like having esp after my s2k incident. The fact that I'm still here after a pretty horrendous accident does go someway to say how well the honda is built. I don't intend to find out the same in the z.
