Reading this makes me glad mine is tucked away in the garage at the moment.

If they have all cheated it shows that the emissions targets set my the eu are totally unachieveable. Modern diesels are so packed with emissions stuff j don't think I'd buy a used one without a warranty

I have a bit of a world of tanks obsession at the moment :s

I just buy my own parts and take it to a reputable local garage that just happens to specialise in Audi rs cars so he's pretty good. Most Nissan dealers nowadays probably don't even know what a z is seeing as Nissan just keep chucking out dross( gtr being the exception)

I went for pagid discs and ds2500s. They have finally given up 3 track days later but only after some excessive abuse at oulton park. For road use I'm sure they'll be fine as stopping power was never an issue, mine are still fine stopping wise really just badly warped.

Welcome to the forum, you'll never get bored of the v6 roar especially with a nice exhaust!

Dedication that! Mine hasn't been done for months but then it hasn't been driven for months either lol

Gutted that's my favourite colour wonder if his last words were "watch this "

Just a quick long term review of MPSS tyres. I've had them fitted for 12 months now in this time I've done 3 laps of the Nurburgring 1 full day at brands and 1 full day at oulton park. The grip level they offer on track as far as road tyres go is second to none the back end never really gets out of shape even when the fronts are squealing on turn in. When they do let go it is so progressive I think even my nan could handle it. Wear wise they are doing quite well as well, don't get me wrong the tread blocks are looking pretty torn up after the track days but they still have a good 4mm left on them and that's with the above use and 5k miles on the road. My brother was so impressed with these tyres he's putting them on his rs4 and I won't be putting anything else on the zed or my next car for that matter. They may be more expensive than alternatives but trust me they're worth it!

Mine made 280bhp with standard filter and cobra non res. 280 with the same +pop charger just lost a little low end torque
-
I would see if you could get a heat shield made up for it, failing that the pop charger kit comes with one
-
It can be done without up rev, I've been offered a map by a company that's not uprev. I think he said he would literally take the Ecu apart and bench write to it.
-
I made the mistake of fitting a non res exhaust first so can't replay hear the pop charger, it does make the exhaust pop more though definitely í ½í¸Š

Cheers rob, good times by the sounds of it! I'm sure you'd do better than 2:30 in the 350. It's a well sorted, confidence inspirer even on stock suspension etc

Looks like a fun session! Yeah I was on Michelin super sports which are phenomenal in any conditions but track tyres would be faster, I think my brother done a 2:11 so he was a few seconds faster, mainly because he's a lot harder on the brakes.
-
It's my favourite track . The only issue we had was the battery came loose and one of the terminals came off. Car was faultless, hardest I've pushed it yet, unfortunately you can't hear any tyre noise over the exhaust on the vids.
-
Few clips from my day at oulton park on Tuesday. All filmed with an external active mic, so enjoy the cobra non res . Second session was my quickest I think, had to slow down as the brakes were giving up towards the end of the day.

Thanks guys, I have a cobra non res y pipe back and jwt pop charger. Not sure what fluid it was to be honest, it was in the car when I bought it. It was ok for a full day at brands but two straight laps of the ring were too much I'm running some ebc racing stuff now that I bought in Germany. Wish I could get the other vid up as it is much better (until the brakes go). I will have to get on to my brother to upload it. Watch the vids on his YouTube of his integra to see how it should be done lol

Cheers mate, yeah I felt the confidence building as the day went on until my brakes went, luckily I was only doing 120 on some of the sweeping bends so I managed to knock enoug speed off using the engine and what was left of the brakes. Shame really as I was getting confident in the car, I lost a lot of confidence when I binned my s2000 at 120 a few years ago, let's say I'm lucky to be here!
It was the proper go pro mount, I don't think it was on properly to be honest.

Some footage from April this year, my first ever trip to the ring. Excuse the camera falling off for a few seconds and my brothers co driving. 10.16 first lap did a 10.00 flat on my second but can't get the footage up third lap was looking like a 9.00 or so going by the split times but I boiled my brake fluid half way round
Enjoy
