  1. Zedman - thought the ride was harsher than the demo, was trawling around on the US forums and it was a well known issue. turn the wheels to full lock and shine a torch in to see if they are there. Three per spring, front only, two of them can slip round the back of the spring. to remove, jack up the car and unclip - no need to remove wheels. C
  2. Hi, the TVR is a very different beast, it's much much faster than the 370Z and needs treating with respect. For me the Nismo is quite a relaxed easy to drive fast car. The TVR is a balls out full on trackday car and can be a bit scary. you need to be in the mood to drive it. what are you doing to your zed, I'm interested.
  3. Yep just looked at diary - that was me - on the way over to the Midlands. Craig
  4. Hi Jonathan - I'm down 1-2 times a week in Lewes, but sometimes have my TVR with me instead - depends on the weather. The car is just going to Abbey this coming week for Uprev - Mark downloaded the map a few weeks ago, and I've just been putting some mileage on before the dyno. Craig
  5. OK how many Nismo owners still have the shipping spacers on the front springs in place? Found mine after 2000miles.... 5 min to remove and ride is much better - unsurprisingly. C
  6. Maybe mine - I go through East Grinstead quite a bit. Have silver Nismo #57. C
  7. Hi its mine. Silver Nismo on private plate. l'm guessing you are in Lewes as I park outside some flats next to the office. C
  8. "Do you a pic of the inner badge?" Yep will get one at the weekend. Just put my first £100 of fuel in! But it's worth it... C
  9. I recently did an interior mirror upgrade on my TVR T350 using a Gentex auto dipping mirror with additional compass and temperature sensor. It's a great upgrade and the mirror is really good quality (GENK21). I believe that Gentex are the OEM supplier to Nissan for the electrochromic auto dipping mirrors. Does anyone know if the Gentex mirror goes straight onto the standard manual mirror windscreen mounting? I haven't pulled it apart to check. The mirror sits close to the bottom of the cover on the rain sensor on the windscreen. I was thinking if I can get that cover off as well and it's possible to drill a mounting hole then the wiring can go through there, behind the headling and down the A-post. Again wondered if anyone has done this. The Gentex mirror options can include external temperature, compass and a video camera feed. Although the car already has a rear parking camera, the camera feed would only be useful if putting a forward parking camera in (the front splitter is at kerb height and juts forward quite a bit, so easy to snag). Not sure that's necessary, but I suspect the first time I whack the front splitter I might change my mind on that one.....
  10. Photos for No. 57 as promised. Only 3 colours available - silver, white and black....
  11. Pics on the way, been away for a couple of days and left the Nismo on the drive. Wifey wanted to know where the keys were ....... But didn't tell....
  12. Picked up no 0057 - silver Nismo on Sunday... BTW if anyone is interested in 0002 - it's a black Nismo demonstrator at Westover Salisbury - dare say it'll be up for grabs in a few months time. C
