Whats wrong with oversteer? doesnt have to be 20mm it is OEM, but on my LMGt4 i had 225 on the front 255 on the rear no issue at all, ive also ran 245 front and 275 rear with no issue (only issue caused was when moving to a lower profile on the 245), Traction control more works on rolling radius than tyre width as it works but working the travel speed of each wheel out then it notices one wheel spinning out of sequence with the other it will apply brakes etc to bring them all in line again. I could have a 215 up front and a 315 in the rear as long as the rolling radius is in line with each other via the profiles Traction control wont have an issue So as long as I run 18's front and back with the same profile, like 40 /40 ect I should be ok? am I right?

They are 18's and you mean stock size tires?

Or did you mean different thickness of tire? As in /35/18 on the front and /40/18 on the rear??

I have an import so don't have to worry about the wheels fitting over the callipers. I'll just run smaller tires on the front, possibly stretched and wide as I can go on the rear. That should cure the problem of the traction control, plus I done love a bit of oversteer. glad to hear the wheels will look good on my zed. Will post pics when fitted.

After alot of looking around and speakin to some really helpful guys I have finally I gone a bought a set of ultralite nurburgring wheels. Well I got 5 of them one as a spare, got a really good deal from my friend julian at garage D. Like it says above im gonna be running 9.5j's all round with et35. I haven't put them on yet as I'm out of the country but can anyone tell me anything I need to look out for before I learn the hard way ha ha. Also what tires do you recommend? Cheers guys

I've recently notice that when I am driving in 1st and second gear there is a gentle ticking noise coming from somewhere. It doesnt do it on idle or and other gears, also it only does it at low revs. At first I crapped my self as ticking noises are never a good sign but this does seem like a big problem I just wanna know if anyone else has had this issue before and knows how to sort it? look forward to hearing what you guys have to say. From what I have herd and read you can fit it but to see the most from it, its best to get a re-map. Anyone feel free to jump i and correct me but your engine will be safe until you get the revup done. I hope Im right as thats what I'm gonna be doing when I get home, if you fit it soon let me know how it goes and what figures you get after the map. cheers buddy

Your telling me that this wont work? Looks to me like you'll see massive gains. Once this is installed I'm pretty sure you'll have to put a dog box in to handle the power

I have a problem I'll explain, I currently have a pioneer head unit (double din) in the lower mount that puts out to all my speakers in my car. I have the import version 350Z with the sat nav screen in but its all in Japanese, obviously. So what I am gonna do is take the OEM out as I cant read Jap and put a 7" double din GPS unit in the top cubby hole, as I really want a sat nav in there. Heres my question, can I join the new GPS/DVD unit speaker outputs to the lower Pioneer ones to all run on the same speakers? I've done a crappy sketch in paint to try and describe it, I just wanna know if it will work? I know I can put in aditional speaks but I dont really wanna do that. Any help would be great guys :teeth: P.S: NO making fun of my drawing in paint, I'm special

I'm gonna get a hair dryer and do a single turbo conversion, looking at max BHP increase!!

Would be the same if I got a girls hair dryer and put it in my intake ha ha
