Recently I have become the 'victim' of internet/ebay fraud. I found a set of seats suitable for the Zed, spoke to the seller who seemed very genuine, provided proof of his address based on his name twice, spoke on the phone, gave me lots of details. I foolishly paid for the item outside of ebay for speed and because he asked me too, and after buying car parts for the last 5-6 years online with no trouble ever, I was obviously too trustworthy. There are many trustworthy people out there, and a select few ****ing up the system. I paid £350 for the seats (could have been worse) to then find out he regularly sells cars and parts, which he doesn't own, and then drops off the face of the earth. I have found posts generally dotted about the internet after doing some digging, and him openly admitting on facebook about owing people £1000's for FAKE parts and cars. I should have done the digging before buying the item. His name is John Varney, Lives in Ladywell, Livingstone, Scotland. I have bank account details, age, contact number, email etc etc I have spoken with the police, trading standards, and action fraud who have all taken details but Im a bit unhappy with the lack of response/effort. This happened on Saturday and I haven't heard anything back as of yet. Now without saying the obvious and driving up there to give him a piece of my mind, which trust me at the moment would provide the most satisfaction, does anyone have any advise to help this situation? Glad I got it all off my chest....

I would agree mate, I have on order a Set of Compomotive alloy wheels, which are Motorsport orientated, and the tyres im looking for as stated dont have to have loads of tread, but I'm no means looking for bald tyres. I was also more aiming towards a set of OEM's if theres any about with a half decent set of tyres. Thanks for the response though mate I know what you're saying.

I was talking about the stubby aerial lmao But the wheels are 9.5J Rear and 8.5J Front et -5 all round mate. They are sold and awaiting my new wheels before I can send them away to the new buyer though lol

Im looking for a set of wheels suitable for a track day, including tyres if by a stroke of luck they may come with said wheels. I dont care what they are as long as they fit over Brembo Brakes, but cheap as possible Or if anyone has a set of tyres in 18", dont have to have much tread on, but must be a decent brand I would be interested and get them fitted to my existing alloys. I have this, and think it may be the ARB links. I have adjustable ARB links and the nuts seemed to be loose which would explain a knock over bumps etc. Once tightened this went away (or so I thought) and has since come back So ill be doing it again and doing a proper job to see if it solves it.

All new bleed nipples, retainer clips, hoses, pins, and pads all ready to go on, then get them fitted. I may be having a set of Takata Harnesses in the very near future, at which point these may have to change color to Takata Green before they get fitted :/ And an example photo of the 10J Rear wheels, currently being cast I have been informed.

Ill be fitting myself mate, Iv worked on my own cars over the years, the only thing I didnt attempt in the past is fitting Cam Shafts lol. thanks, as I'm sure we all know, its never ending
