Ah nice one! Looks mint. I will be doing that when I get a day off. My front wipers are rusted too tho, I will still have to address that issue. I'm just desperate to make my car look a little different. I'm considering getting the windows tinted and the roof wrapped in carbon look film. That should cure my Zeditus for a little while and shouldn't cost too much. I'm struggling to find many pictures of modded silver Z's so its hard to guess what will look good or not.

I'm going to treat my car to a few bits and bobs that need sorting this month. I've not had it long and I'm dying to mod it but my cash flow isn't really allowing that at the minute unfortunately. I need a side indicator cover and some new badges which I will be getting from Zman once I get paid. I've noticed my windscreen wiper arms are rusted over pretty bad too, can I just sand and paint these whilst on the car? I've read they are a bit of a pain to put back on again once removing. I also have a tiny spot of rust by the rear spoiler where a small ding has gotten worse over time. What sort of prices would I be looking at to get that sorted? I can put pics up if needed. I'm thinking of plasti dipping the lower bit on the front bumper and possibly the wheels too. How many cans will I need to do the job comfortably? Just wish I had a bit more cash left over to buy a nice set of wheels and get her lowered! It ended up costing me more than I originally thought for my insurance and after paying it out in one go last month I've left myself a bit skint.

haha! To be fair my civic was tuned and track ready.... Running about 240bhp and with fully stripped interior and fully adjustable coilovers it went like stink. I'm actually pretty certain it would hammer my current Z if it went toe to toe on the track. Thats not to say I don't like the Z, I do but it's just not as quick as I'd hoped. I'm torn between modding it to get a little more out of it or just waiting a couple of month and selling up to get something like an Evo or a Scoob.

I agree with that guy ^. I had Depression and OCD which stemmed from some things I used to get up to with my old band. Lets just say I partied pretty hard for a pretty long time and it burnt me out. It changed my life completely and now that I'm out of it I really appreciate the simple things in life a lot more. My drummer's girlfriend moved abroad and lasted 2 weeks before she came home because she couldn't bare to be away from him. If she loves you she will be back, if not, its time to move on and f*cking swiftly

I've came from a 1.2 fiesta haha! I had an ep3 type R beforehand... I've got to be honest tho, I'm not falling in love with this car like I thought I would. I'm not even sure why, it looks great, goes pretty well and all but that feeling isn't their. I actually had more fun in the civic.

I've not long had my Z and I'm after an exhaust upgrade to free up that nice v6 noise. I'm on a tight budget, would keeping the stock back box and getting a mid pipe and a pop charger help get that desired sound?

Nightmare. I came out of my mates flat last night and someone was just standing over my car looking super suspicious. We watched him for a while to see what he was going to do but he ran off once he noticed me. I'm really paranoid about where I leave my Z now.

My advice would be save a little more and get a one in good nick. I paid £5,800 for mine, it's an 04 with 58k on the clock, full history and that was from a dealer.

I really need to learn how to use photoshop so I can mess about with my pictures and try out a few different wheel colours etc.... Anyone fancy helping me make the first pictures wheels black??

Thanks mate, They do look really nice OEM like, I'm trying to find more pictures of Z's in my colour that have been subtly modded. heh, to be fair the astra VXR that was trying to get me to bite today would have destroyed me haha. It was obviously well modded. I still crave another turbo car sometimes. I will probably end up getting an evo 6 by the end of the year

Can't decide whether to keep a proper OEM look going on. Or to go the opposite direction and make it a bit lairy. I'm thinking black wheels, tinted windows and a black front splitter might look pretty sweet. Can anyone recommend a decent front splitter? Is it something I could paint/fit myself? The front bumper could really do with a respray too.

Sup guys, it dawned on me today that I've not yet posted any decent pics of my new Z. I've went a bit quiet since my initial posts, been busy working and enjoying the car. I'm about 2 weeks into ownership now and I'm loving it, at first I wasn't too sure but it has definitely grown on me. The rush hour traffic in the mornings is a bit of a ball ache mind, I just sit their watching the fuel gauge drop haha. It's funny how many guys in hot hatches feel the need to rev the tits out of their cars and scream past like lunatics when they see the Z. Not sure what they are trying to prove exactly. Tho to be honest 5 year ago I would have probably done the same. Anyway, here she is.... needs a good clay barring and proper clean but here is how it stands at the minute 100% standard. Still undecided on what colour to do the wheels. I'm not sure whether to get them furbed next month or take it to get a proper service/inspection from the guys at falcon performance. Can't really afford both. Really keen to get modding it tho.

As far as I know high oil pressure on start up is normal?? Mine does it too.

For that sort of money I'd not be looking at either car's to be honest. If I had to pick one it would be the 350 all day.

My zed is missing the cover off the small light on the side of the car, just under where the Z logo is. I'm trying to find somewhere to buy one but can't find anything online. I'm not to sure what the part is called either so my searches keep bringing up bulbs for the front of the car etc. Help me out guys!!

If it happens again it will be going straight back in and I'll demand they replace the faulty sensor. I've actually had a couple of PM's from people on this forum who have told me the exact same thing happens to them occasionally, so it might not be "common" as such but I'm not the only one. Anyway time to start enjoying the car! I will probably post some pictures of her up later once I've gave it a proper clean, .
