  1. Order placed! First time trying this out, hope it's worth it.
  2. Where can I find the discount code? Considering placing an order this month.
  3. Cheap as possible please, the front part of mine is broken.
  4. Yeah, that's the sizes i'm using. I was advised to get 35 profile fronts and 30's on the back. Just checked again for a 245/30 - Circumference from is 2057.7mm vs 2072.5mm standard. Much closer. The tyres have already been bought unfortunately. Is it going to make much of a difference?
  5. I only checked the back yesterday, here are the numbers: FRONT Old New Diameter 659.7mm 679.5mm Circumference 2072.5mm 2134.7mm Poke 71.6mm 90mm Inset 131.6mm 126mm Speedo error 0% -2.91% Reading at 30mph 30mph 29.13mph Reading at 60mph 60mph 58.25mph Ride height gain 0mm 9.9mm Arch gap loss 0mm 9.9mm BACK Old New Diameter 677.7mm 679mm Circumference 2129.1mm 2133.1mm Poke 68.6mm 107mm Inset 134.6mm 147mm Speedo error 0% -0.19% Reading at 30mph 30mph 29.94mph Reading at 60mph 60mph 59.89mph Ride height gain 0mm 0.65mm Arch gap loss 0mm 0.65mm EDIT: That didn't come out like it should have. The first number is OEM and the second number is with the new wheels.
  6. I tried a tyre calculator - couldn't make much sense of it to be honest but the rolling radius was 4mm more than standard.
  7. So my Zed is a 2005 Roadster and it didn't come with the Bluetooth cradle or the left side steering controls. Is it possible to add the oem cradle, adaptor and steering control unit and get it to work as normal or will I have to go down the aftermarket route?
  8. Meant to add the car is on standard suspension.
  9. So i've bought a set of 20" wheels for the Z I'm looking to find out how far I can space the wheels out without any rubbing issues. I'm abroad at the moment so I can't fit them onto the car and measure. Here are the specs: 8.5j front and 10j rear 245/35 width front and 285/30 rear. I believe the offset is 18F and 20R. Anyone have any idea?
  10. You guys think that's bad? I once walked back to my car in the late evening and found two fellow students storting cocaine off my bonnet. It had been raining and the car was soaking wet. they had poured the coke onto the bonnet and it dissolved instantly. Luckily this was before I got the Z - I was 17 and it was a cheap car but I was furious nonetheless.
  11. You're more likely to get time-wasters on a 1 day listing - People bid impulsively and then realise they don't want it or don't have the cash.
  12. In the same boat. I'm after some 'vintage gold' metaliser. Emailed loads of sellers but none of them have any.
  13. I'm looking for an induction kit. Preferably a JWT Popcharger but may consider others at the right price. Pm me!
  14. Would have had it sorted weeks ago if I found that page earlier.
  15. That sorted it! No faulty or broken parts, just needed adjusting.
  16. Just came across this page about adjustment. http://specialtyz.com/blog/?page_id=178 You guys think this could be the problem?
  17. The car is a 2005 Roadster with the DE engine. I contacted the seller posing the same question and he replied with a useless generic answer. I've researched a little into clutch forks and found that they can bend over time and leave little adjustment in the clutch (sounds familiar!) - The high performance clutches and flywheels apparently put more pressure on the fork and can bend them quicker.
  18. Decided to replace the clutch and flywheel on the Z for a lightweight unit so I ordered an XTR racing clutch and lightweight flywheel from the US of A. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e12052.m43.l1123/7?euid=fa46f4e82e554759971dc4147ae186e3&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D140971734177%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AX%3AeRTM%3AMOTORS%3A1123 Kit came with the following: XTR Racing Lightweight Chromoly Racing Flywheel XTR Racing Heavy Duty Pressure Plate XTR Racing Full Face Organic Street Clutch Disc Release Bearing Pilot Bushing Now, I've had all the parts installed by my mechanic - including a new clutch master cylinder as the old one was seized. The problem as he tells me is that the clutch is not engaging and does not have enough room for adjustment. He seems to thing the problem is one of the following: 1. There should be a replacement clutch fork when changing from a dual-mass flywheel (stock) to a solid flywheel like the one I purchased. 2. The is a manufacturing defect with the clutch I received. Does anyone know if you need to replace the clutch fork when converting to a single-mass flywheel? If so, what kind do I need? I think (hope) it's pretty unlikely it's a dodgy clutch and is probably something simple. Can anyone with any experience with this shed any light? Thanks in advance.
  19. Probably due to the high flow cats - Try a pair of lambda spacers, available from ZMANALEX.
  20. Ah fair enough, they weren't there when I listed. £90 including 24 hour delivery

    Japspeed Backbox

Well, decided to go for a pair of decats. Hopefully they will sound alright. If not, I can always add a backbox later.
