  1. Wow, that certainly was a comprehensive report on DAB! I had it in my previous car and had no problems at all. Primarily I had it for the stations that I can't get any other way like 5 Live Sports Extra. I don't mind if it isn't as great as everyone thought, just so long as I can listen to TMS and F1 commentary!
  2. Afternoon! I'm after a new head unit for my 2003 import. It's got a double din Sony unit in it now which I don't like... A couple of things it must have: -DAB radio -Bluetooth (Android) - Sat nav & DVD would be cool too. I've had a look in a few shops and there seem to be precious few double deck units that can do DAB and Bluetooth. I would have thought there'd be a much bigger market for them these days.... This is the only one I've seen so far that fits the bill: http://goo.gl/mVniF Anyone recommend any others?
  3. Thanks all, most useful. Yes mate, I'm interested in standard springs. Are they new/used/how old etc?
  4. My Eibach lowering kit is too low! It was on the car before I got it so I don't know a whole lot about it. When I was driving mostly on main roads, motorways and billiard table suburban roads it was never a problem - I just had to be in the middle of the road to get both wheels up over any speed bumps. But now I live in the countryside and it does not like the uneven lanes at all. I'm still searching for a route to work that avoids those stupid single-lane speed bumps where you can't get both wheels up. And now tractor-worn country lanes with a massive hump running down the middle. I've added about 10 miles to my commute so far and still had about a mile of nasty scraping noise this morning. So it needs to go higher. Would I be right in thinking that an Eibach lowering kit is not adjustable? I presume it isn't coilover? Obviously I'd rather have the current kit tweaked than have to buy new springs. Potentially daft question, but how do I find out exactly what is on the car now? I didn't fit them so I'm not sure if they're 20mm, 30mm or what... Any help, general advice, experience much appreciated
  5. Sky were brilliant for me, I'm 30 with 4yrs no claims and got £612 for an 03 Fairlady. My previous (non 350) insurer Allianz wouldn't touch an import, Admiral wanted £2800, the best other quote from a mainstream was still £1200
