Time to move on from the beast and go up in the world with a 125
Any recommendations? Probably looking at spending up to £2k
Have looked at Yamaha YBR and they look good value for money, could probably get a nearly new one but also like the Honda Varadero but that would be a bit older. Open to other suggestions though.

I paid by bank transfer, they checked their bank and gave me the keys.

Sustained gear changing is something I learnt at a driver trainer course. This is for changing down and you increase revs as clutch is out to match what the lower gear would be at and allows smooth change ready to accelerate again. This is better for the clutch and drivetrain as it surely must reduce stresses and strains all round.

At 4.40pm going up the hill from Rushington towards Ashurst. I was cycling home...

Offers?
-
This has come up at wrong time, mine is blowing, can't afford aftermarket replacement yet. How desperate are you to get rid? If you were prepared to keep until mid January I would make you an offer.

Just now parked on Asda car park...

If they don't charge for the parking then they can't sue for damage if you don't pay. Just ignore all correspondence.
I received a ticket on a car park for not parking correctly, there is no charge for using this car park. I ignored all requests / demands and have heard nothing since. It is different when there is a car park fee not paid as the company are out of pocket and hence they can sue for damages.
The worst they can do is tell you not to park there again.

Just seen it parked up in Winchester City centre as you come in from Bar End. I think it was a 55 plate.
-
Also they use fog lights as cornering lights so one side will come on and off as your turn. Looks weird.
Absolute waste of money - do they really help...
I doubt it. Plus its just confusing if you have never seen it before.
Thinking about it, they are fog lights that just come on individual when cornering so surely they should be illegal to use unless there is reduced visibility...

The LG G2 faired very well the other day on Gadget Show...

The Z was definitely heading south as I was heading for J17 north to get off to go to Macclesfield.

Just now at Sainsburys, Withymoor.
Ten minutes later there was a 370Z starting MHZ
-
Possibly had a personal plate on it?
-
At about 3.50 travelling south today probably junction 16 area. I was northbound but not in the Z

Sand them down and Hammerite them.

I don't see why not, i know it wasn't a 350 but my old 300 was a twin turbo auto. But then I'm guessing you may need an uprated auto box...

Seen again on 17/11/13 in Southampton on New Road...

I propose a covert squad of highly trained people that can unplug, not damage in any way, front fog lights belonging to serial offenders...
-
Most pointless set if lights on a car in my opinion. Should be called w***er lights!

I think I am right in saying its less of a fine to not display a front number plate than intentionally display one with incorrect spacing, size or font etc
I havent had one on for 6 months on my z and 3 years on my 7, s and driven past quite a few police, its in the car should I get stopped as it has just fallen off officer and I am on my way to get some fixings never been stopped though.
All depends on how bored the particular officers are and if you have given them any other reason to pull you imho.
Whether the plate is altered or not there, the offence is the same of having no registration plate.

Agreed and if they sit stationary with their foot on the brake pedal because they can't find the handbrake they should go out after 5-10 seconds!
Which 125 bike?
