  1. This is the family car...

    Fuel consumption (urban) 21.6 mpg

Fuel consumption (extra urban) 32.8 mpg

    Fuel consumption (combined) 27.7 mpg

    0 - 62 mph 9 seconds

    Top speed 124 mph

    Cylinders 6

    Valves 24 v

    Engine power 215 bhp

    Engine torque 376 lbs/ft

I do love this car especially the insane torque but not as much as the 350Z!

  2. Mk1 models tend

We bought one of the last MGZR's in 2005. Awful build quality but reliable enough.

Mk2 MG's such as yours tended to be of poorer build quality than Mk1 models.

  3. As a train driver for SWT, I pass this motor nearly every day, looks a nice example, there is also a black 350Z with stunning silver wheels in the up-side car park at the station on a regular basis, nice to see those Zeds getting regular outings.

It may be another one you see then as this one isn't visible from the rail track.

  4. Third ZS I have owned and perhaps that says something about them in itself...

Love the V6 engine and handles very well. I've had many pleasurable years driving them. As said they are a lot of car for not a lot of money, wish I could keep her as a track car but wouldn't get used enough.

  5. This is the car I still have until I sell her and for which the 350Z is the replacement. Rather fortunate that I still have her since I need a new clutch on The 350Z!

I have done the following -

Rover 45 headlights as these have clear indicators as opposed to standard amber.

    Janspeed X Power back box.

    Janspeed decat.

The alloys are the Mk 2 version.

    Citroen screen mist washers.

    Sheddist kit for clutch hydraulics.

Body coloured engine and fuse covers.

    Piper X induction kit.

  6. I've been quoted £600 - £700 in general and that's just the clutch and fitting. Obviously expect to add the cost of the flywheel if you do that too.

However there is one place that has quoted £449.99 for clutch and fitting.

I would love to buy an uprated clutch and flywheel and get them fitted but I haven't got the time or funding to go that route at present.
